He won’t be HIV positive, the BBC have already ticked that box with Zack. Maybe he has hepatitis B or C.

If they were asking him to give a kidney, fair enough you would be extremely hesitant. But giving blood is a fairly minor thing to save your half-sister's life.

My partner suggested HIV last night. But surely if it is HIV or hepb or whatever, he has a very easy out. He just says "sorry I have a condition which means I cannot give blood". End of hassling and stalking. But of course it IS EastEnders and we need The Drama! So maybe the daughter will end up being the donor.

I noticed he queried how Jack found his address. There must be a reason he's on the police database.

I don’t know much about stem cell treatment but I do think it’s more than just giving blood but right now he’s not even willing to do a cheek swab which is odd.
Oscar is wasted at the min hoping for more storylines as we head towards the wedding whenever that may be

It is just giving blood, Jack said so the other night. I was surprised so I googled and that's usually all that is needed.

I was also surprised to read it’s just a matter of giving blood. In today’s episode he agreed to do it - he initially refused because his late wife died in hospital, which is ridiculous but then this is EE.

Ah my bad, just googled it is mostly blood I remember reading about it when DH went on to the Anthony Nolan register I must have read about the bone marrow thing

Thanks South, typical EastEnders! Sad obviously, but unnecessary drama. Still at least it gave Phil something to do, we haven't seen him enough lately.

Was that the only reason he said he can't do it? Because he can't face going into a hospital again to give some blood?!? If so, the plot lines are getting beyond ridiculous now 🙄

You could see the way the Amy and Craig story was going from the very first time they met when she answered the door to him at home.

Agree with @NoisyBrain about him giving off Gray vibes.

I don’t think he’ll sleep with Amy, who in the eyes of the law is still a child. That might be why there were no warnings from the BBC. But he’ll try to, Jack will find out about the grooming and Craig will blackmail him to back off (just my prediction).

Gray and Chantelle had a really stilted was of speaking.
She stood there going " Babe....I love you....so...so...much" with gaps between words which sounded like she was maybe trying to convince herself not him. Or maybe trying to remember the lines.
Then Gray started the same with his lines or saying something on a rush.
Not my favourite couple on the Square.

Avani is similar with the way she talks. Just my guess that it’s a way the 26 year old actress is trying to (implausibly) convince us her character is 17.

I said the same about Jack and Craig effectively in a stalemate, blackmailing each other (Jack and the police database, Craig and Amy). Which is a rerun of Jack and Ravi at a stand off over the gun last year.

Amy isn't underage though, the age of consent is 16. If Craig was in a position of trust he could be jailed for sleeping with an under 18. I'm not clear whether being a cop working on a case involving her counts as a position of trust, but anyway he isn't, he's been suspended so isn't working. But I'm not expecting this to make any more sense than the Ian-Gray-Sheila nonsense!

Mark’s pattern of speech annoys me, particularly when he’s talking to Lauren.
”You know how I feel about you….Lauren….it’s me or Peter….Lauren”

That rings a bell now shelling so it seems my prediction wasn’t terribly novel!

In real life, Craig would get into big trouble for breaking the code of conduct by having a relationship with Amy as he’s still a police employee, so would be abusing his position wuth someone vulnerable. I think we’ll see the last of Craig by the spring, these types almost always get their just desserts.

I must say, I don’t disagree with Suki’s behaviour today.

in the real world, we all have problems and we all still have to pay rent. If Jean hasn’t been paying it Suki has been nice long enough, she will have to put it into writing though.

Suki was only being nice re the rent because of Eve, and Eve wants to keep Ria amd that's now in jeopardy, so fine for her to give notice. As you say, needs to be in writing.

So presumably Mo, Jean, Lily and Charli will move into the -tardis- vic, amd Zac will be homeless.

I don’t blame Suki for evicting Jean. I suppose they will all end up in the Vic for a while.

Alfie dried off quick didn’t he. And there has been a hosepipe ban in London for a month but let’s not mention that.

Denise and Darnell. What a dreadful backstory. My wife died in hospital and I could do nothing to help her! So I decided to do nothing to help my dying sister either! I feel sorry for whoever had to write that.

So now they all have secrets. Craig has concealed evidence, he’s already suspended for misconduct, he’s about to shag Amy. Jack has misused the database and is now concealing evidence. Amy hit Joel (why does Jack keep saying attempted murder, it’s ABH).

Could Creepy Craig be related to Jack and Jack? The way he said "we're family" was odd. But then I'm finding everything he says is odd. The Denise Darnell scenes went in far too long. When he said it's hell for me being here to a woman who is very close to death. What a daft character.
