Maybe Alfie is gambling again and will do even more now Harvey is encouraging him. I had forgotten his history with ‘ the horses ‘ and he even had a job in the bookies once didn’t he!
Maybe they will lose the pub because of it or Zoe dying and those too giving up on life ?
Don’t see Darnell as a Reiss type, more like Barney really. I hope he isn’t like Reiss and stays away from baths.

Craig is creepy isn’t he. Hanging around a young teen.
I hope that Amy is savvy enough to see him off.

In a magazine I just read, it said next week Nicola's family stay at the vic! I can't see how there is room

I agree about Creepy Craig and his 'go somewhere quiet for a chat' all the time. I'm not sure what Amy thinks of him - is he a father figure while Jack is busy, or does she think he's an attractive older man? Most teens would have a good laugh at him and his slicked back hair and trying too hard clothes!

Why would they stay at the Vic and not the b and b?

Because there is a mysterious link with Archie.

I've a question. Has the whole donked Joel case really been dropped or is that just what Walford Vice told Ross? At that point he had been suspended.

@the80sweregreat It was his mannerisms and the way he spoke a couple of times which reminded me of Reiss.

I also wondered if Alfie’s gambling will see them lose the Vic, I know there’s been speculation that there are new owners when the flash forward takes place seeing as neither Kat or Alfie are seen or mentioned.

@Alucard55 I have no idea whether it was true but i am going to guess - yes. Because it is yet another story which went nowhere. Amy said she overheard an officer telling Ross but it can't have been Craig. There was a scene previously where Craig told Ross he was off the case and had been replaced by a new officer (he didn't say he was suspended).

Rose ends up in the b and b. Yeah, I can see why you thought he was like Reiss with the man explaining thing and so on. All he needs is a tuba then ! Lol

@Shellingbynight I think Craig went to tell Ross that the case was dropped. But as he was suspended at that point he didn't have the authority to do that. Wouldn't Jack and Jack be aware of his suspension too.

My memory of the scene was that soon after Craig was suspended, he visited Ross to say he was leaving the case, Ross kicked off a bit, and Craig said oh no don't worry, we're carrying on with it, the new bod will be a fresh pair of eyes.

We never saw anyone say the case was being dropped to Ross did we, just heard Amy say it? But I could have zoned out!

This new guy Darnell is definitely giving awkward/geeky Reiss vibes imho. Another autistic character possibly?

Max has a lot of energy. He’s at least 10 years older than me, I’m in awe of his energy. 😅
I am really starting to feel for Vinnie, he’s a real gentleman, he’d make a great husband and father, I’d like the baby to be Vinnie’s child but it’s Eastenders so Penny and Priya won’t have a happy easy outcome.
Craig mooching for a date with Amy. Creep. He wants to hurt her I think? Who is he.

I thought Ross said someone from the station told him, he said it to Alfie and Amy overheard him.

So Jack&Jack does know Craig is suspended, he asked why he was at the station.

Maube Craig will realise stupid bent Jack used the police computer illegaly, and Jack will be unable to report him for shagging Amy. (Why would Darnell be on the police computer records? He would only be on there if he had been arrested, cautioned etc. )

I really liked Darnell. Nice character and good actor. I don't see any Reiss or Barney vibes. He just seems like Darnell to me.

I agree...the poor Vinny can do no right bless him! But he is standing up for himself and Penny quite nice and calmly when Suki tries to muscle in 👏

Penny treats Vinny like dirt. I think that she’ll be eating humble pie once he ditches her and she discovers Harry is only good for building a pram!

Someone on Facebook said that Darnell was like Libby.
Cora met her long lost daughter who was a teacher and they managed to ruin her character!
