My abiding memory of the Ferreiras is that the actor who played the dad had visa issues so suddenly disappeared from the show. And yes, the kidney!

It was a while back and I don't think they were a well recieved addition to the Square .
The actor ( Raji James ) was in The Bill, East is East, Coronation Street,Holby and Doctors

Kellie Bright is leaving, such a shame to lose Linda.

Oh no! She is one of the better actors in the soap imho. I love her distinctive pink flamingo sense of dress 😐

I’m not that surprised Kellie has quit because Linda hasn’t had a big story for a while. I hope she goes on to be as successful as Danny Dyer has been.

That is a real shame, she is such a good actress, I'm sure she will get other offers. She has had very little of interest to do lately so I don't blame her.

Before she was Linda, she voiced Kate Madikane in the Archers for many years.

I hope they will leave it open for her to return as I always hoped she would be reunited with her husband.

That’s often how abusive men are in real life. I thought they did that storyline really well tbh.

Oh no, sad Linda is going, Kellie is a good actor. On the upside perhaps she will take Jonnie Sausage and E-laine with her.

Kellie bright has a son with autism , maybe this is why she has decided to leave ? She did a documentary about autism for Panarama last year and it was very good. It’s only a guess, but soap actors do weird hours , so can’t be easy with a young family. Or maybe just needs a break from being Linda ? Wish her well though. One of the better actors in EE.

I agree here, she’s not had big storylines but also apparently wants to spend more time with her sons.

Linda had that ridiculously long 'cruise' last year didn't she (after the sale of the Vic) she was away for months, presumably Kellie wanted that time off with her family. I did wonder at one point if she was coming back. This producer obviously had no idea what to do with her.

Linda could have had a big story with Bea who she knew from school days but the writers messed that up.

I think it said in the press release that she’d asked to leave over a year ago but agreed to stay on for an exciting storyline, so I suppose the cruise story gave her a lengthy break as part of that agreement.

Linda has been great. She had her DC later in life just as her career kicked off. I’d say she is exhausted, has a good partner in RL.
She’ll be back, I hope.
Just caught up on last week’s. Amy is a risk taker trying to pull the wool over the detectives eyes? She’s beautiful.
Lauren is crazy.
I don’t know how Sheila is going to snatch Jordan. I’d have checked for his passport immediately after Sheila broke the rules. Chelsea has been great through this.
Edit to add. I’ve no concept of time. I thought her children were much younger.
