Traitors US Season 4 now on iPlayer

Couldn't see another thread?

Just binged the first four.

Very much the fare as before with a sprinkling of Real Housewives, some gamers and participants from shows such as Survivor and Big Brother. Maura Higgins represents this side of the pond.

I was amused during the previous series by how the Housewives in particular didn't like, against all logic, voting against each other. Loyalty versus reason. So it will be interesting to see how that pans out for them this time.

I am looking forward to this but waiting for more to drop before I start my binge. There’s a lot about the US versions which set them apart; the confident extrovertedness, the TV cliques I’m clueless about and extraordinary outfits. One year some from Below Deck refused to go along with one of the challenges and tantrumed spectacularly- she was invited back as a cameo on later series. Love it!

jay55 · 24/06/2026 10:37

Ooo thanks will start watching tonight.

sunshinehappydays · 24/06/2026 10:47

Oh great-I’ve been waiting on this starting! I love the US version of the Traitors. They are all awful to each other!

Umbilicat · 24/06/2026 21:38

I've started this and am quite enjoying, the Secret Traitor thing didn't really work just like in the UK version. I'll stick with it ..

Yes that's right.

I don't like it when they mess with the format. This game was perfect as it was from the start - that's why it was such a success and has spread worldwide. I always think programmes are on their way out when they start adding gimmicks.

In theory I think Secret Traitor is a good addition, it adds another layer, it's fun genuinely not knowing and being in the same place as the faithfuls but - saying no more for spoilers - both times I've seen it, they've messed it up by picking a bad ST.

TellingBone · 25/06/2026 11:40

Another gimmick I dislike is not allowing the 'known' traitors to pick their own victims. They've started giving them lists to choose from - presumably to suit production. That's too much influencing for me.

It's crazy and I love it! The misplaced alliances, the dramatics (I'm Michael Rapaport! Yeah mate...we are still clueless...) bizarre things people say (won't go in to specifics, but I think you'll know if you have seen the ep where a faithful goes) and above all....ALAN'S OUTFITS!! In ep 3 he looks like the bastard love child of big bird 😂 is he pranking us?!

Ep 5 and 6 are on iplayer now and I'm itching to watch them but have to wait for DH...booooo!

LaliqueSaltGrinder · 25/06/2026 20:05

I watched the first two episodes and had to switch it off. I love the Traitors, but those people are just horrendous.

Whataflippincircus · 25/06/2026 23:52

I’m watching. Where do they get these people? I’m fascinated by Lisa’s lips, they are huge.

The Traitors are doing well. I like that they are getting along.

TBF the ST USA, is a carbon copy of the UK one

EXCEPT everything is 1m more OTT and that is to its detriment, although some people claim to like it better that way

jay55 · 26/06/2026 14:00

Am enjoying it a lot. Secret traitor was a real shame. Chose the wrong person.

PinkPonyCIub · 26/06/2026 16:41

Yeah exactly the same type as the uk one

strawgoh · 26/06/2026 21:06

Just watched episode 1, so will rejoin the thread once I've watched a couple more. There's a gobshite or two already, isn't there?

They need their own post code (zip code for her I guess!) - to think she will have paid a ton of money for them too!

I'm still baffled how it's cheaper to bring them all over to Scotland for this than find a location in the USA but Richard Osman said on his podcast that it is...madness!

mehday · 27/06/2026 23:45

Wish they wouldn’t hold back episodes!
Am annoyed at the internet (or myself 😉) as I was looking up who the cast were and saw a spoiler for the end 🫤
I will keep watching though, if only for Lala (not been seen much yet this series)!

jay55 · 28/06/2026 17:44

The lips are astonishing.
Im yet to like anyone much this season. They’ve not shown much of the people I’ve heard of which doesn’t help.

strawgoh · 01/07/2026 16:49

I don't know any of them at all (Michael who?) and I'm now up to date with it. A couple of very gullible people there who simply have not clocked, like they never do, that some of them are flying very comfortably well under the radar.

VideoVox · 03/07/2026 05:45

The egos are unreal. “I’m Lisa fucking Rinna”. Hmmm ok. As for Michael…

I’m enjoying it though, traitor Rob is very easy on the eye and I like seeing Maura on there I liked her on Love Island.

You see I was surprised to see Michael in there . He’s a comedian/ actor who thirty years ago had his own tv show - The war at home which I loved and he guested in friends. I had no idea he had fallen so low.

i wasn’t going to bother as there’s two seasons if uk now . But I decided to give it a shot and it is good,it’s so different to the uk version .

VideoVox · 03/07/2026 15:10

I had no idea Michael was on Friends! I recognise him now, Phoebe’s cop boyfriend.

I'm just surprised that he's described as a 'comedian' as I didn't find him in the slightest bit amusing or light-hearted, rather that he was overly domineering and unnecessarily agressive. Must have been acting the whole way through I guess.

Either that or he went to the Trump School of Do You Know Who I Am Egotism.

LaliqueSaltGrinder · 03/07/2026 17:31

From Rappaport's wiki (and I can't say I'm surprised)

"On May 18, 1997, Rapaport was arrested for harassing ex-girlfriend Lili Taylor and charged with two counts of aggravated harassment. He pleaded guilty to the charges in court".

He is an angry, nasty, rude little man.

strawgoh · 03/07/2026 17:41

Can't say I'm surprised either.
