Traitors US Season 4 now on iPlayer

Couldn't see another thread?

Just binged the first four.

Very much the fare as before with a sprinkling of Real Housewives, some gamers and participants from shows such as Survivor and Big Brother. Maura Higgins represents this side of the pond.

I was amused during the previous series by how the Housewives in particular didn't like, against all logic, voting against each other. Loyalty versus reason. So it will be interesting to see how that pans out for them this time.

Final episode now up on iplayer, plus the ridiculous "reunion" show. Alan's choice of outfits are... interesting. As is Maura's in the final.

I had to laugh at Maura with the pan lid on her head 😂

LaliqueSaltGrinder · 16/07/2026 19:29

Can we discuss the ending?

I started watching the Canadian one but didn't like it at all.

strawgoh · 16/07/2026 19:47

@LaliqueSaltGrinder I've watched it all now, but not sure about the others on the thread yet.

Recklessismymiddlename · 16/07/2026 19:56

I’ve seen it!

Icantreadthesmallprint · 16/07/2026 20:47

I haven't posted before but have just finished it, can we talk about it?!

TellingBone · 16/07/2026 22:02

I haven't watched the last episodes yet but I'll avoid the thread for a bit if you want. It's not a 'no spoilers' thread.

I've finished! The reunion really wasn't worth watching...just a lot of bickering...although a montage of Maura's 'lids' was played😂

Whataflippincircus · 16/07/2026 22:55

Just finished it. I was very much reminded of Harry’s win. A foolish woman taken in by a traitorous traitor!

I wanted Tara and Johnny to win.

LaliqueSaltGrinder · 16/07/2026 23:33

Rob played the fans as it was meant to be played. Maura is just thick.

LaliqueSaltGrinder · 16/07/2026 23:37

Played the game.

pinkdelight · 16/07/2026 23:47

Just finished it, apart from the reunion. Loved the finale. Loved those dungerees. Phwoar!

NewGirlInTown · 17/07/2026 02:31

Rob is so gorgeous he deserved to win just for that! 😁
However, he was also brilliant in the missions and I really objected to the two skaters entering as practically a pair so didn’t want them to win.
Maura was just there to increase her profile.
The wardrobe and make up was excessive.

Recklessismymiddlename · 17/07/2026 06:13

Yes it was Harry and molly again. Couldn’t possibly be Rob because he was a pretty boy? But it wasn’t just Maura who kept dismissing him? Didn’t like the way Rob stabbed Eric in the back either. Pinky promised? 🤣

Icantreadthesmallprint · 17/07/2026 07:05

I think Rob played the game really well. He deflected suspicion and yep Maure very much reminded me of Molly with Harry! I thought they both behaved well at the end though, I haven't seen the reunion. It did make me laugh when she said "you will never get a girlfriend". Like, look at him!

I didn't care that he shafted Eric as Eric had done absolutely nothing to get there really. Unlike Stephen and Rachel where Stephen came across incredibly well, but he felt a sense of loyalty because Rachel had been there from the beginning and had been totally loyal to him.

I also thought that either Johnny or Tara should have been a traitor. I know loads of people hate it but I weirdly love the US traitors because at least they are openly horrible to each other. And I found the finale of S3 weirdly heartwarming.

The only series of the traitors I haven't liked is S3 of the UK one as almost everyone left at the end was so unlikable, and in general the emotion of the UK one and people taking things personally really annoys me.

Recklessismymiddlename · 17/07/2026 07:09

Agree they should have split Tara and Johnny up. Would have made that so much more interesting.

Australia S2 is still my favourite ever Traitors ever though.

pinkdelight · 17/07/2026 07:34

All v true! Esp Rob winning for hotness alone - I love that practically everyone fancied him, male and female, that must’ve helped. But he also played a blinding game, and I don’t think Maura ever seriously doubted him. The edit made it look like she was swaying to Tara, but Tara was being way more fishy with her ‘I know Jonny is faithful’ (never say you know! How could you unless traitor!) and she’d just had that round table where she shafted Natalie so even tho it was never mentioned (editing again) she was a way more suspicious character throughout.

Loved Rob’s take on why the skaters changed after ‘recruitment’, and also fair enough point re Eric about not giving 100k to someone you only just met vs sharing it with your family. There’s loads of cute pix on his insta of him with his little sister so I believe him on that, and he also apparently bought Maura a birkin bag as an apology. Not that I’m obsessed lol, I’ll have forgotten all of them soon enough, but it’s been a great season with a great winner.

Icantreadthesmallprint · 17/07/2026 10:30

He came across very well I think. As did she ultimately, she's quite funny and presumably good at other things just not really this style of game.

It did make me laugh when Jonny, I think, said something like "I can't even really concentrate on what he's saying, he's so hot". Basically I think everyone in that final episode other than Eric will have done their image well as they were all likable.

Ultimately lots of people had worked it out along the way but it's always the same with the traitors, it doesn't matter if you're right if people don't listen to you.

What I also love about the US traitors is when they openly vote people out just because they can't stand them and don't want to hang out with them (Michael, I think a couple of them said this). This obviously happens in the other versions but noone admits it...

Rob played the fans as it was meant to be played. Maura is just thick.

She mentioned quite often that she's been betrayed time and again by men, yet entered a game called The Traitors. What did she think would happen?

Fair play to her though, she took it on the chin very well. 🙂

Michael was exceptionally annoying.

I did not know Lisa fucking Rinna was married to Harry Hamlin! Her lips omg!

I really wish we could see Uncloaked episodes as well…. Would love to see peoples faces when they see Rob was a traitor.

strawgoh · 17/07/2026 14:59

Michael was exceptionally annoying

You can say that again. The man is such a boorish arse, and has no manners or social graces whatsoever.

mehday · 17/07/2026 15:07

I felt much more sorry for Eric getting shafted than for Maura being a sap. I think if the boot was on the other foot, Eric would have shared the winnings - but I get Rob’s reasoning about them being practical strangers. I didn’t think Steven and Rachel would both stick to the plan at the end so that one was a good surprise.

TellingBone · 17/07/2026 23:20

Finally watched the final.

Agree with PPs - Rob played the game properly. Was also reminded of how Harry [my absolute fave] played. That's the way to win this game.

So how come I loved Harry and hated Rob? 😀

I just really disliked most of the characters in it. Maura and Rob, and to be fair, Eric, were nice people. Others who may have been nice like Mark and some guy called Stephen who popped up around half way through having had zero coverage time appeared to be nice enough too. But the programme was just focused on the hideous Lisa, Michael and the rest of the awful "housewives". I am so glad that the UK version has either members of the public competing for money or proper celebs competing for charity. Not d-list reality "stars".

Recklessismymiddlename · 18/07/2026 08:44

I was wondering whether they get paid an ‘appearance’ fee, as well as a chance to win? I suppose they must be. I think the U.K. celebrities were but I can’t remember.
