Panic! the thread was ending.

(The thing I did notice with the ELC at Roehampton, it is has a very pronounced British accent- unlike every where else, where it just sounds like noise).

Some of them are terrible and the repetition is annoying but the fault call at Queens was good!

They do need to vary them, I think, Jane- like how you can get different accents for Siri, or your SatNav.

Maybe Yoda line calls.

I was also wondering if other countries asked British tennis players to say foreign metro/station names (and then laugh at them!) or is it just a Wimbledon thing

Oh no that’s a shame for Dan - at least he’s still got the doubles at Wimbledon but I still think he should have had a singles WC

I just saw the end of Ostapenko’s match - it looked very hot in Eastbourne

The forecast looks a big cooler for the start of Wimbledon next week - Jannik will be pleased!

Jannik is playing an exhibition at the Hurlingham club at about 2.30- so I hope he's got plenty of water, sunscreen and a hat. (I think he's playing Norris)

I went to the shops earlier- and as I was getting out of the car (it was about 12pm) I saw a group of runners going past. It was at least 30 degrees at this point. Absolutely nuts, and surely not recommended.

We are, fortunately, close to a hospital, should they all end up with heat stroke

I got in the car earlier and could barely touch the steering wheel as it was so hot! Jogging (or doing anything really) in 30 odd degree heat is madness

I see Fritz has withdrawn from Eastbourne at the 11th hour, so Felix Gill has been parachuted in to play Choinski.
Ram and Salisbury have also withdrawn.

Iga's poor run of form continues with a loss to Emma Navarro- hopefully she will do better at Wimbledon!

Iga seemed to be lacking in energy today as did the Sky sound system!

The sound on Sky is always shocking- and Dh is getting really fed up wih me moaning about it

It was even worse today. It was completely silent for a few stretches of the match. I suppose they’ll blame the heat for that too!
