Just seen the walkover - that’s a real shame for Matteo. The Italians haven’t had much luck health wise this tournament really - Jannik affected by illness, both Matteos having to retire/withdraw. Flávio must be feeling a bit nervous now!

What a shame about Matteo. He must be gutted! I doubt he'll ever be in a GS semi final again (obviously could be wrong!!).

What an awful shame for Matteo. It sounds like he left it to the last moment, no doubt hoping he’d make a miraculous recovery. He’s had an amazing tournament but having to pull out of a grand slam semi that no one expected him to make must be absolutely gutting.

At least this way Flavio will be fresh for the final.

Just watching the men's doubles finals- and it's funny how , after all the goings on in the singles- both the men and women's doubles finals are being contested by the 1 and 2 seeded pairs.

And they’ve been completely ignored in the studio despite all their chattering.

Well, quite.

6 red button channels for TNT- and usually they show repeats of what is on the main channels, if they anything at all. Hardly any doubles.

We only get two matches on the RB which usually have the wrong names on them so you have to guess which match it might be.

I hope it's good- Mirra had a pretty straightforward semi final, it would be nice if this was a decent final.

I would like Mirra to win, but I think it's likely to be Maja's big chance (unless this turns out to be he big breakthrough). Mirra really will have more.
