Watching at tv pace , it doesn’t end for ages , but as it’s all on I player obviously some may have watched it all.
I admit that I’ve been at a loose end and needed something to watch this week.
What do others think ? I did enjoy it. It was a strange drama and I can’t tell if it was satire or a black comedy or just the holiday from hell! Or all three.
The policeman made me laugh ( how lovely was he) and a few quips. Some really good acting too.
I feel guilty for binging it.

Zoe didn’t have deep feelings for Jon - she just wanted a no strings shag with a much younger, good looking guy (and who can blame her? 😉).

No, I don't think she had deep feelings for him, but Solomon admitying to hitting him, doesn't show him in a great light. Dan has tried to kill himself with the car, in the past and Solomon tries to hit someone else with a car.

Zoe needs to stay away from cars back home.!

Again to me, with Zoe's 'visions' of the Moirai, it shows literally that thin line between life/fertility and fragility/death.

Yes, I agree. I loved the visions of the Moirai (not so sure about the need to be topless, unless it referenced something I missed). How closely life can go one way or another.

I was watching at TV pace until episode 5/6 which I’ve just binged, as I was just so tired of everyone and wanted it to be over. Poor goat.

Nobody came out well.

What a bizarre and wonderful series. Must admit, wasn’t too sure watching the first two episodes, and then it gripped me, even though I was slightly confused what was going on half the time (Greek references, naked lady, missing money storyline etc). Loved the bizarre party at the neighbours house. Also I loved how everyone went from goody to baddy at a flick of a switch. Felt sorry for Jess who was the outsider, and saw her husband (almost) having an affair. Probably the only one who came out smelling of roses was Nat, as she starts her new life on the island ( although how the house was inhabitable one day, then housed them all a few days later is a bit questionable).

The policeman was hot!

Loved the music also. Been listening to Crowded House a lot since as a result of it.

Remind me never to go holiday on an island with a group of friends from university.

I liked the policeman too.
Crowded house are fab arn’t they. I should buy some CDs of theirs. I did like how the music married up with what was going on.
