I had, to be honest, low expectations but they have been exceeded

It took me a moment to get my head around Agnes & Daisy's timelines (in the book Agnes is around eight years older than Daisy) but I'm enjoying it so far.

Really enjoy it. It’s not following the book but that’s ok.

New episodes on Wednesdays. Just watched the first 3, very impressed with it so far.

I thought it was a bit of a dull start, I would have liked it to kick off with Lydia's back story, but I will stick with it.

It's so good. Can't wait for Episode 4!

Just watching episode 3. Very good so far, although not fully convinced on the timeline. I cant remember much of the book tbh so cant say how accurate this is.

@Deadringer they did explain Aunt Lydia’s backstory in the series of the Handmaid’s tale? Or did you want the story to expand further on what we know already?

I haven’t watched yet but will start today. Very excited to see the Eyes on Gilead ladies are back with the accompanying podcast…this one is called Eyes on Screen. Took me a whole to find it.

I can’t wait to watch it but I was trying to hold off until more episodes are released as I will want to binge watch it

I so want it to be good. I know lots think the book wasn't great but I really loved the story.

I haven't read either of the books, so can only judge on what I've seen on TV.

I thoroughly loved all seasons of THT, and I loved the 3 episodes of The Testaments that I watched last night.

Still has given me that eerie feeling of dread at times, and the shock factor was still used wisely

They've already had an episode with Lydia's story in The Handmaid's Tale. Or did you mean how she became to be an Aunt? Someone else commented that its not following the book. I cant remember much of it but largely it seems to be following it at the moment I thought.

Yes I mean her becoming an Aunt. The best part of the testaments was Aunt Lydia imo, I have to admit that I skim read a lot of the early Daisy stuff.

Enjoyed it, and took me a while to remember just who Daisy was! I have read the book twice (or rather the excellent audiobook) but looking forward to this, and it was a surprise to see June in ep 1.

But Commander Judd…. Gaaaaahhh such a Fred clone, the voice too!
