I assumed Penny didn’t die as a handmaid was suggested. They wouldn’t have a handmaid if Penny was dead, he’d just get another wife. He gets through lots of wives…

I dont think they've mentioned Penny dying. But seeing as Judd seems worse than Fred I think the arc will be she's sent to the colonies and he replaces his wife. I can't see him tolerating 3 baby losses x

If Daisy is not Nicole I don't understand why they would choose an actress that resembles June so much. She has the wrong colouring to be Angela, both of her parents had dark hair and brown eyes iirc. I am also intrigued to know who the first pearl girl is/was.

I doubt it. I don't think they'd waste a potentially fertile young woman like that. Maybe the plums who never turn green become aunts.

I rewound to see. It was June's record. Documenting Hannah and Nicole's births. Hannah has her Gilead name, Nicole's just says Nicole Waterford.
There is a section ticked for handmaid by ceremony and then scribbled out. Left or exiled ticked and other saying no a handmaid.

They don't recommend she becomes an aunt, she asks to become one and Lydia agrees for reasons

I didn't understand why Judd etc were okay with Lydia not shooting Vidala but I just read on a Facebook post that Lydia did pull the trigger but there were no bullets. Did anyone else pick up on this?

Yes. DS and I noticed. It was a test to see if she's prepared to do anything they tell her to. At least, that's what I thought.

Yes I assumed it was a test if that sort so didn't understand why they would proceed with her if she didn't do. Makes more sense if she did pull the trigger.

And why is Daisy the only pearl girl there for key moments like even when they checked Hilda had really started her period. It's not like Agnes was there so she wasn't there because of her.
