As promised on the TMS thread, here is the Brits thread, to discuss the ceremony as it unfolds. Hosted again by Jack Whitehall.

And for those who don't live here, it's in Manchester (and they have been making a big deal of this), at the Co-op Arena . Harry Styles is performing (he's a Co-op Arena shareholder )

Other performers include SOMBR and RAYE- and others who use a lot of capital letters.

So- join me, to discuss the dodgy outfits, iffy singing, and reminisce about 'back in the day' .

They are speeding through some of what would be considered the 'big' awards.

Does this mean a half hour tribute to Ozzy, because, if so, sorry, I will got to bed.

I love the way the guitars come through in the mix of the song & the interesting drum beats in Wolf Alice.

I like Last Dinner Party but don’t like Wet Leg

Love him or hate him these jokes would hit better by an actual Manchester based comedian like Jason Manford.

They were the support act when I saw Harry Styles a few years back, we skipped it and ate loaded fries in the bar instead.

I agree with this, as a Mancunian- too many of Jack's jokes are a bit north 'south divide and relying on 'us northerners' being a bit dim.

I think I’m going to have to switch off before the Robbie Williams show kicks off.

It all feels a bit posh southerner making fun of northerners rather than taking the piss out of ourselves
