Presumably we're going to have "Cracking <insert random pudding here>, Gromit" too

Re: the reappearance of W&G today - is anyone doing a lamb dish a la Shaun the Sheep, or is that not ok? 🤣🤣

Innit. Difficult for anyone doing the commute, especially if you've to do dinner too

They seem to have dropped the bits where each chef goes off and meets someone from whichever aspect of British life they are featuring. I'm guessing people from Batman and Jurassic Park were unavailable. And Gromit can't speak.

LaMarschallin · 25/02/2026 19:11

Liking the "With nail and I" dish referencing the Camberwell carrot too.
Not just sticking the name on any old dish.
Needs some "finest wines known to humanity" as well

Is that not in the later in the series?

Shouldn't come as a surprise that sauce won't reduce in a pressure cooker

Noooo! That would be like one of them saying they were doing a dish called Pie Another Day so they've braised Judi Dench and stuck her in a rough puff.

littlbrowndog · 25/02/2026 19:17

I have a vision now of Judi in a massive pie

she could pop out of the pie at the banquet

EsmaCannonball · 25/02/2026 19:17

Should have done Shirley Valentine. Chips and egg and moussaka.

PotterHead1985 · 25/02/2026 19:17

Ok, he failed to put the chicken in a pair of boots but the food is connected to the brief and those boulangère potatoes look amazing.
