I miss all the 'nil point' stuff on Eurovision. Used to take ages. Proper endurance stuff, but you could get through a lot of snacks.

Sunbird24 · 26/02/2026 19:25

It did occur to me that you’d just get sauce on your duvet

Same. Mammy said it was her favourite part.
We aren't even in it or airing it this year!!!!

Bet Johnny Logan is looking into taking out North Macedonian citizenship and doing the hat-trick.

It's like Scarlett O'Hara making her dress out of the curtains but deciding to only use the tie-backs and the braids.

she has too much chest for that style of dress, makes her look as if she has no bra on - maybe she hasn't? ‘She says, hoiking up her bra straps as she goes’

That is what I was thinking. Very much 'swing low sweet chariot'

You can tell Debbie is someone whose job is to have an opinion and to get it across.

I thought that about yesterday's outfit.

Those chips look actually sexy.

LaMarschallin · 26/02/2026 19:36

Sooo full!
Lovely local curry restaurant sent extra free bhajis and an extra stuffed paratha.
The paratha's not alone...

EsmaCannonball · 26/02/2026 19:37

I'm worried for Paul. He's chosen better, more pertinent films but they didn't like his fish and his pudding was weak.

Aldi prawn curry and home made chapati

LaMarschallin · 26/02/2026 19:39

Roadt chicken is one of my favourite things.
And this dish has one of the best connection to the brief and the film W&I.

Sunbird24 · 26/02/2026 19:39

If I do a roast chicken the first thing to get eaten is the skin. All of it.

littlbrowndog · 26/02/2026 19:40

This is a roast dinner but posh

LaMarschallin · 26/02/2026 19:41

Unimpressed Phil hasn't heard of potatoes boulangere (although in general I really like him)

PotterHead1985 · 26/02/2026 19:41

I think he may get a 10 from tom for this main

I know. Some judge. I suppose he is there to be the everyman. I actually had a go at making boulangere potatoes recently and they were lovely and pretty easy.

EsmaCannonball · 26/02/2026 19:46

I always find it slightly deflating when they get to the judges' chamber. You see all the effort and the creativity in the week, and then the judges are always really sulky and sneery.

PotterHead1985 · 26/02/2026 19:47

Again there is nothing LIQUID about that shortbread. Soft perhaps.

I do not like the idea of eating blindfolded. I know there are some fancy, experimental restaurants where you eat in the dark but I am always mindful of the time when my brother went to the cinema in the 1970s and didn't see the earwig that had crawled into his popcorn.
