Is it too early for a Celeb Traitors 2 Thread?! Never, I say!

Thought I’d start a thread so we can share all the whispers, and wishes, for the Series 2 lineup.

Names I have heard so far, from the likely to the fanciful:

Bob Mortimer - was rumoured for S1 but apparently couldn’t make the schedule work
Tom Hiddleston - apparently a huge fan of the non-celeb version and appeared on Graham Norton alongside Claudia where he was dropping hints about how much he’d liked to be involved
Liam Gallagher - Scott Mills was saying he’d heard he’s a big fan

On a previous thread I suggested Boris Johnson, but I suspect they couldn't afford him. He is one of the most accomplished and fluent liars this country has ever had, so it would be a good fit.

A slightly more serious suggestion: Patrick Grant from Sewing Bee. He knows how to wear a kilt.

I think any politician that enters the castle would be first to be banished!

I couldn't watch if Boris Johnson was on, and I don't think he should be on things like that and made into a friendly, cuddly figure. He carefully cultivates the shabby buffoon thing, but he's highly dangerous and unpleasant.
I've read rumours about Gareth Southgate, Lily Allen, Olly Alexander. Wouldn't mind GS, but am not keen on LA and cannot bear OA.
The last one was such a good cast, I think they'll struggle to follow it.

I wonder if Alice Roberts would be interested. She's an academic(ish) and does a lot of presenting. One of the van Tulleken doctor twins, maybe. They'll also need at least one sportsperson. Joe Marler was a hoot last time.

That list needs more sporty people, more people who aren't white, at least one person with a disability and at least one gay man or lesbian. Too many men named as well. They usually start out around 50 50 male female.

I don’t think Bob Mortimer would be allowed to do the physical tasks given his heart operations etc.
