The German commentators on Eurosport Deutschland were getting very excited in this game! It was a fabulous watch.

Ice hockey seems to be popular in Germany, they're showing a lot of it. Suits me I love ice hockey (go dynamos btw!)

The women's game is even better, I promise.

I've been really enjoying the hockey, and I LOVE how they have a live, rink-side organist. So much fun.

Agree with a pp that the freeski aerials today were just mental. Winter sportspeople are maniacs.

Womens Team GB v Japan curling is great fun. I don't understand Japanese but I "understand" all their squeaks and yells.

It was fun , wasnt it? The Japanese team are lying last - they knew they weren't going to win- but they are still enjoying being involved.

It was one of the best matches I'ves seen from the GB team- they seem to have taken a while to settle in. Today must have have given them a boost.
But now, they rely on other teams doing badly, really.

True - I’d only seen our local team when we lived in the US (Stanley Cup winners!) so hopefully the Canadians are equally over the top.

Yes, I was watching that. I can’t even do a handstand, let alone ski up a short slope and do acrobatics in the sky, and land upright (and un-injured).

Switzerland has just scored well - currently beating Italy 7 - 3 going into the 8th end.

It's very tense when we are relying on other teams to lose- I didn't expect to see Canada losing by so much- but they could still win.

Yes - think we’re just waiting to see if we have qualified 3rd or 4th which determines whether we play Canada or Switzerland in the semi final.
