It would have been cheaper and easier for Mark to put on a balaclava and steal the car himself ( after dismantling the cctv or security alarms if they have such things, which we know is rare )
Nobody goes on a test run with the paperwork on them even if they have known the person for five minutes. I thought that Lauren was more savvy than that!
They are now 20 k down and her dad is 3k down after she stole from the charity.
She is a bit of a liability isn’t she !

It's not really surprising Max doesn't want her running the place is it!

Max seemed to think he could claim on the insurance, in which case it's probably a win as they had no chance of selling that car!

They’d have to lie to the insurance , but knowing Max he’ll know what to say and get away with it.

The keys were genuinely stolen but I'm not sure what the position would be on 'the paperwork was in the car'. As you say, Max will know anyway 😆

Max would know how to sort the insurance, the problem is he told Lauren to sort the insurance!

I thought as he left the room he said he was ringing to sort out the insurance?

He didn't show a lot of sympathy for Lauren (understandably!)

Surely the police will want to question Mark? And with him being such a bad actor the game will be up.

Definitely see him and Lauren having an affair though.

Ah I thought Max left saying Lauren needed to sort the insurance. I must have heard wrong 🙈 so maybe Max will realise there's something a miss about the whole situation, especially if the insurance ask questions etc

For thread purposes ( 😂) I had a look at the last 15 mins or so and Max walks out living the room saying ‘ I’ll sort out the insurance , Lauren’ ( whilst Oscar is restraining himself from perving at Mark’s backside too much !)

I thought the “train” noise was supposed to represent Ravi’s inner turmoil, his emotional turbulence and imbalance.

Nugget’s hand on the door was also very dramatic.
I am wondering when he’ll find out that Ravi beat him up, how anyone could deal with that I’ve no idea. Plus his two children seem to be good at being fobbed off as to why his being like he is. I suppose it’s a case of just self absorbed teenagers, but they don’t ask too many questions do they !

Max does mutter so it would be easy to mishear him, but I have the subtitles on so I can see what he's supposed to be saying!

I agree I can see Lauren and Mark having an affair. They are similarly lacking in brain cells and I am sure it'll seem like a good idea at the time 😆 I can't remember now, is Lauren with Peter in the flashforward?

We so see Pet ahh during the flash forwards , but he isn’t going to the wedding.

What I don't get is why Lauren hasn't twigged Mark set her up. I mean wtaf was that rubbish about scratches on the bumper? Just a ruse to get Lauren out of the car so the thief could grab the keys off her!

Lauren trusted him. She isn’t always the brightest star , but she has this feud with her dad and wanted to prove herself I suppose. Makes me laugh how many quiet areas they find in London for illegal activities and Mark found that man very fast too to help him out with the stealing and attack!

You'd think after all her years in Walford, Lauren would know better than to trust anyone!

80s did it look as if Peter and Lauren were still married? I really should watch the flashforward again but not sure I can go through all those mentions of The Bride again!

It did look as if Petahh and Lauren were still together, but a few mentions were made that he wasn’t going to the wedding and Oscar seemed surprised that Lauren was. It was all a bit strange.

I definitely heard Max tell Lauren to sort it out with the insurers so fully expect to hear next week that she didn’t insure it🙄.

I’m guessing all these reminders that he likes boys is to set us up for his relationship with MySon/weird love triangle with Jasmine.

If Phil only needed to make a single call to get Mark off the hook, why didn’t he just do that when Mark first turned up on his doorstep beaten to a pulp!

Is Lexi now just an official school refuser? She’s taken multiple days off and now Calum has taken her to visit his brother. I was very confused when Phil took her to the doctor. What is supposed to be wrong with her?

I don't think Phil did actually take her to the doctor. He just said he would to get Callum off Lexi's back!

Thank you. As you say it does sound a bit strange, but I suppose by December Max will have had plenty of time to alienate most of his family!

Why doesn’t Lexi like school all of a sudden?
Dh keeps seeing that Lexi is going out of it , but with so many fake news stories around it’s hard to tell isn’t it.

I don't think it's that Lexi doesn't like school. She has no sense of security any more, everything keeps changing (the Calllum/Ben/Jay/Johnny issue, and Nigel leaving home) and she wants to stay home because she's scared of what will happen when she's away. That's my take on it anyway.

But it seemed as if he was actually taking her, in the scene when Vicky stopped to talk to him. He told Lexi to “go in and tell them I’ll be there in a minute” I assumed “there” was the Doctor’s surgery but who knows. Very confusing!

Oscar eyeing up Marks bum and making little grabby squeezy hand gestures towards it . No mate , he's after your sister but when has that ever been a problem in Eastenders .

The CarLot would have blanket insurance wouldn't they cover up to £x000 as the stock would vary , That's why they use the red/white plates on a test drive or transfer to show they're a dealers cars . Don't know if the red sporty number had them . Or how Mark could actually fit behind the wheel !

Lauren might be reduced to setting fire to a motor ( been done before ) !

I did like Sam waking up with her prune like feet in the FootSpa

Oh , and a new GP who listens and ask questions .
