@2026firstnamechange Johnny said 'we never need to see him again' which pretty much guarantees he will definitely turn up!

Tim seems too weak to pull a gun on someone and hold them hostage but I guess you never know.

@Shellingbynight the Mitchell genes are so strong (look at Phil and his super sperm, fathering two boys in his 60s) that even if Grant didn’t raise his son, somehow his personality was embedded in Mark😭

Lexi was brilliant in this episode. She has been very annoying in the past but she is maturing and was so good with Nigel.

Nigel's visit to the Vic was good drama, but a terrible idea in reality so I couldn’t really get on board with it. A ‘Good luck’ cake? And standing clapping him? After being in a hospital room for weeks he would not cope with a pub full of people, some of whom he hardly knew. But a lovely scene when he recognised Claire. Paul Bradley has been outstanding.

Lovely speech by Phil in the care home. It very much sounds as if we won't see Nigel again, or if we do it'll be for a deathbed scenes.

You might have just solved the mystery of who is the likely culprit !

Was it just me, or was the Clare actress delivering her lines really badly last night? Too fast and lacking any expression or emotion!

I agree @Meredusoleil that Gemma Bissix hasn’t been great. She was equally average in Hollyoaks.

I don’t think that was the last we saw of Nigel. When the time comes, surely he’ll be getting a Julia’s Theme? Maybe deathbed scenes like you say @Shellingbynight I note him and Julie aren’t in the spoilers for the next two weeks.

The Julie actress' voice/accent is also getting on my nerves a bit lately! I think I would rather have more Kim scenes - at least they are fun 🙃

Is Ravi really small? Or is Mark really tall?

I think it's a bit of both. Mark really looked huge next to Vicky!

I best remember Clare Bates dressing up as Princess Leia to try and seduce Bradley.
I wonder if they'll try and revisit the spark between Max Anything-that-has-a-pulse Branning and Clare!

Julie has been gurning a lot.

I expect we'll next see Nigel when Grant makes an appearance.

I always thought Ravi was tall but he looks tiny next to Mark!

I haven't enjoyed Julie in this storyline. I liked the idea of Claire returning but the actress really isn't that good. (Better than Jasmine obvs!)

Small but perfectly formed 🤣

Two things I liked about today’s episode: (1) Lexi being kind, and believable; (2) Claire and Nigel having their moment of connection.

Julie is so annoying, though, and I really don’t buy Phil being quite as invested as he is. All those years when Nigel wasn’t even mentioned, yet now Phil apparently loves him more than anyone else ever. (Except maybe Peggy). Didn’t like the ending either.

It’s a good bit of telly, especially after the last few naf episodes.

What will the do with whispering Julie now? Will she continue to live with Phil.

Agree with PP both Viki and Mark act like they've lived in London all their lives. It doesn't ring true.

Clare reminds me of a Thunderbird.
She was quite sweet as a child as well ( from what I can remember anyway)
So , Priya is now going to be selling cars! I think she’ll be good at that.

Speaking of Eve, it annoyed me that Eve and Nicola were in the foreground in the Vic laughing and nodding at reminiscences which meant nothing to either of them. Nigel did not know either of them.

I like Julie (even though her possibly being on the sick from teaching hasn’t been explained) and her whispering voice. I wonder what she’ll do now Nige is no longer on the Square?

How does Clare know Chelsea ?
Chelsea, the woman with the invisible child, have we ever seen Jordon in years !
