I do have a liking for Billy on the Classic Eastenders , he was at his loveliest when he was married to Little Mo - in looks only , he was a snivelly little coward personality wise

Oh dear no, I’ve never found Billy attractive. He did look better when he was with Mo but he has always had a weasly look about it. He hasn’t aged well and looks too old for Honey (or maybe she looks young for her age).

Zack is too much of a chiseled preety boy for my taste. Seems like the kind of bloke who’d have more moisturisers and creams than his girlfriend and takes ages in the bathroom.

I think Phil was very good looking in his younger days, especially around the time of the Sharon/Grant love triangle.

Max for me has had his day and i don't find him sexy anymore, but he used to be very hot

Tim didn’t check the registration numbef of that car did he ! Or question it.

So much idiocy in that episode, it's hard to know where to start.

Ravi having Jack is in his phone as Jack! 😆 Linda saying the wrong thing every scene she was in. Julie ditto, still has no idea how to handle Nigel. Max behaving like Phil. Kim in general. Johnny blaming Linda for Tim’s behaviour. Howie still being a postie despite being a thief.

Gormless is the perfect word for Jonny sausage and Callum.

Shelling, I didn’t even think about Howie still working, but all I can think is that nobody dobbed him in for theft and that was from the parcel place job he had and not the post office, so his managed to stay on! Which I know is just rubbish, but his still there. I thought he’d gone for good.
Linda/ Max / Tim / Callum / Johnny .. it’s all such a bore fest. I assume that Tim has withdrawn the funding now ( I was zoning out ) so he’ll have to ask Nan for a job at the b and b! Or the Albert.

You may be right that the thefts were from the courier deliveries rather than RM. I still wouldn't want him as my postie!

Tim did walk away without giving the funding. I can't believe Johnny was stupid enough to think he'd give him the money and then disappear. As if. Him blaming Linda seemed like a plot device so she could cry to Max, it didn't make much sense.

What has Linda supposed to have done ? I did miss the first few minutes today , but it felt bolted on. As you say , it was only so Max could play ‘ cabbie ‘ though !!

You’d think as Jack is allegedly a police officer he would have reported Howie for stealing his daughter’s valuable necklace. But nope. Another criminal he has let off or failed/forgotten to arrest: Chelsea for the club crush, Kojo was supposed to be arrested after he took drugs but that was forgotten, the Six/Denise’s multiple misdemeanours…
And why does he always meet Ravi in public places when he’s supposed to be a top secret snitch?! I don’t think there’s been a more corrupt or inept copper in soap history.

Easties I think Callum is running Jack a close second!

80s Linda spent a long time agonising over the fact she knew Tim was going to 'test' Callum and could have stopped the thieving escapade at Tim's house. I am not sure anyone could have anticipated Callum would be stupid enough to break into Tim's house, or Johnny would decide to 'save' him by shagging Johnny, none of it is Linda's fault!

No, but tbf Linda didn't tell Johnny what she knew Tim was up to before it spiralled out of control to blackmail. She could have nipped it all in the bud had she not agreed to let Callum's loyalty towards Ben/Johnny 'be tested' by Tim! I was furious with her for not saying anything tbh.

How did Tim not notice Max in the pub 5 minutes previously and not wonder how he turned out to be the cab driver??

Plus a man like Tim would definitely have Uber on his phone and wouldn’t be calling a mini-cab.

@Meredusoleil Linda should have kept her beak out completely, but no one forced Callum to break into a house to look for a memory stick. He and Johnny are phenomenally dim.

In true EE style she was in hospital for about two weeks and then completely recovered. There was never any mention of follow up appointments, medication or other issues.

i will say I’ve only been watching again maybe 3 years after 11 or so off so don’t remember early Linda but the Linda of the last few episodes seems really odd and unlike her? Presumably it’s just a plot thing to make her fall for max. She’s acting more like drunk Linda not the calm one we saw with Phil or someone else she was lovely to? Was it Lauren?

Yes Linda has been lovely since her return. She was always a bit over protective of Johnny but I don't buy her interfering to that extent for no particular reason. It does seem to just be plot reasons so we can now have the ridiculous scenario with Max, who isn't behaving in character there either.

I didn’t think what Linda did was that bad anyway. In today’s episode Johnny cut her off completely (but no doubt they will be talking again soon as nobody in EE goes NC with family).
