The scenes with Pinny were good today. The rest was a bit strange and Johnny wasn’t a good drunk.
I suppose Ben will show up next to add to that misery fest! ( only a guess )

Like the idea of an Apprentice writing two scripts.
Ravi actor was theatre actor before , so obviously he’d get the pharmacy storyline as that meant angst.
Denzil gets the new age AI Antnee. We didn’t need him
back the first time around tbh, but there we are.

AI Antnee is actually an improvement and has more personality than the real Antnee...
Maybe we should canvass for AI Zoe and AI Jasmine 😁

Denzil has been good this week with his helpful attitude. He certainly isn’t like his dad is he !

Tim reminds me of a young Dale Winton .
Was he studying Law too or just at the same University as Sausage .
Linda saying she knew Callum since he was a young boy - he was in the Army with Lee , how young would that be? 17/18? Not young boy .

Some of the meds were in alphabetical order , DD was asking me what they were for (I'm not a Pharmacist but I'm an HCP so familiar with names of most of them on the shelves )

Priya declaring she'd provide for them , part time in a BapVan , that flat ( right by the station) fairly new . Is it 3 bedrooms ? It would be (I am too scared to look too hard , but Rightmove is showing £3-£4 thousand rental in Stratford E20 ) ! Obviously Walford ain't Stratford but they're now saying there's no food in the house ...... probably because Priya keeps announcing every night is "Family Night" and getting a take away . Will she start stealing food from the BapVan next ?

Ian,Kathy and Callum having a very indepth secret conversation in the cafe when they know the residents have elastic ears and bat-like hearing .
Why did Lauren buy all the donoughts when she could've gone to the Minit Mart and bought ice-cream and a frozen gateaux?

And Oscar was an utter brat at the Faaaamily Dinner .

Those baps were massive!
I'm sure Priya's baps are bigger than Stacey's were.

Linda, Sausage and EeeLaine all popping over to the cafe for a takeaway tea or coffee or whatever - a couple of weeks ago they were arch enemies.

It's usually Eve who goes off to buy the rolls so maybe Priya has found a more generous Bap Supplier ?
Or she has squashed them flatter ?

Today's episode was so bad I can't even be bothered to comment on most of it! The only bright point was Pinny. Although I am not sure how a two minute conversation with a GP who gave which I am sure Penny could have googled is going to help her 'decide'.

These story lines are so dire, have they used AI to write them?

Agree a nonsense episode. Too much Jonny sausage and I'm getting fed up of the Patrick grieving stuff. No sympathy for Ravi.

I think AI would do a far better job at this point

I'm fascinated (and a little scared) by AI so I thought the Ai Anthony story was interesting and credible, although Corrie did a similar story in 2024 so this isn't novel for EE.

EE also did an AI story with a friend for Tommy ages ago.

Yes. That's how Denzel got the idea in the first place - from Tommy.

I find the idea of AI creepy for this type of thing.
Plus once you stop subscribing for the AI person to talk to you your deceased relative is dead to you again. Only winners are the billionaire owner of such software.

I think the idea is to wean yourself off it slowly. It's supposed to act as a temporary crutch to aid the healing process. Especially if someone dies suddenly. I would be concerned about addiction though!

My brain couldn't get pass they are not real and I would not see them as a person , they'd be frauds which of course it is .
I can say that as a person whose both parents are dead . It would be great to see and hear them again but I know that's not possible . As it is for everyone .

sure I caught an old old episode where she worked in the pharmacy? It would calm Ravi down at least if she said ‘I worked here let me help’

Denzel has grown into a wonderful young man, I’m not buying Will filming nuggets seizure I don’t feel like he’s that kind of kid?

where is Phil? I’m guessing the whole story of the break In needed him to be away otherwise Callum would have gone to him and Phil would have sorted it

Phil is busy visiting Nigel in hospital every day. It's probably part of Steve's panto break so Phil doesn't even get a mention at the moment.

Denzil is lovely isn't he. But the AI stuff is horrible and will inevitably go very wrong.

The entire pharmacy interlude was dreadful and Bea made it even worse.

I loved Patrick's 'WTF!!' face when he first heard AI Antnee speak, but I was sorry he ended up going along with is as I think Yolande is absolutely right and there is something deeply wrong in doing that, though I can see why someone would. Denzil meant well, just should have run it by someone first. I just hope no one recently bereaved is watching this and gets ideas about it.

Johnny Sausage / Tim / Callum is all scroll on your phone EE, can't bear any of them now. You just know Tim will have recorded the whole sordid encounter. It also seems weird that Eelaine is so involved in her grandson's sex life. Where is poor Lexi while all this is going on? She stands no chance of turning out normal while this is all happening around her as it's bound to Come Out as these things do.

Thank goodness for a halfway decent storyline with Pinny.

Yes exactly, now Tim has the means to blackmail both Callum and Johnny because he is guaranteed to have filmed Johnny at the house. Johnny knows there is at least one camera there, how on earth is he so stupid?

Poor Lexi.

Johnny and Callum have professional careers , yet they don’t appear to have any common sense at all!
