Welcome to the EastEnders spoilers thread, where we post and talk about any EE spoilers we've read about, including those in early release episodes on iPlayer.

Link below to watch episodes on BBC iPlayer - these are usually dropped at 6am on broadcast days - and you can read brief synopses of upcoming episodes:

You'd think Tim's behaviour would immediately put Johnny off having anything to do with him, but this is EastEnders so he'll now be embroiled in all sorts of illegality now even though Tim may as well hire a skywriter to say "I'm a villain".
Horrible storyline and I don't care about any of them.

The scenes with the Brannings were quite good. Oscar can even do 'good drunk'. ❤ I think the pregnancy storyline could be good, seeing the challenges Penny faces. Presumably she isn't around at Christmas because she isn't looking after the baby. But neither is Vinny.

Does Linda not like Callum ? It seems to be that way doesn’t it !!

She's just far too worried about her precious sausage having his heart broken ffs 🤬 rather than do the right thing and be honest for a change!

Shellingbynight · 23/02/2026 21:26

Linda just fell for Tim's story. Why anyone would believe a word Tim says I have no idea!

Holidaymodeon · 24/02/2026 09:07

I hate this Tim storyline. It’s been done to death a million times in films, books, tv etc and such an obvious basic villain. Too hammy . I hope they finish it double quick

Southeastdweller · 24/02/2026 09:12

Yes I was hoping for an original twist in this story rather than Tim’s ‘indecent’ proposal that emerged today. Although I think it’s the first time it’s happened in a soap between two men.

I enjoyed all of Penny’s scenes in today’s episode.

Yawning at the Tim, sausage and Callum story. Linda, sausage and the panto dame should go, none of their storylines are doing it for me. If this is a way of getting rid of Callum, where will Lexi go? I suppose she can play musical houses like the rest do, I'm sure Nan or Grandad must have a spare room she can sit in for a few months.

Shellingbynight · 24/02/2026 10:53

I don't think they can get rid of Callum, because of Lexi. He does need firing though because he's too dumb to be a cop.

I also thought Ben was returning this year. If he is, Callum needs to still be around.

the80sweregreat · 24/02/2026 11:00

Lexi might be better off living with Kathy and Harvey to be honest. If Ben returns , that may work , but his always been a flaky one and Lexi needs some stability really.

Alucard55 · 24/02/2026 11:45

I don't see that it's realistic for Lexie to be living with Callum when he's divorced from Ben and she has blood relatives living practically next door.

thisoldcity · 24/02/2026 11:47

There were some parts of last night's episode where I was actually interested which makes a change - Penny is a good actress and it make a change that someone lies (about the 'false alarm') without a load of pantomime giveaways. Denise spotted it, which is actually realistic as she's pretty sharp. The whole Branning get together was well done and not too contrived. We need more 'normal' storylines like that where you actually can empathise a bit. All the gangster / drugs / revenge stuff just goes on and I can't believe many viewers care. Ravi and Priya are so good together with their kids, I'd be happy for a normal storyline for them now. They are all good actors so there is so much potential there.

Callum breaking into the house to look for a memory stick was woeful. No one could come in my house and not find about 12 memory sticks kicking around the place, but how you'd find one particular one in a house is ridiculous as a storyline. He is supposed to be a detective now as well. I don't know anyone who would so obviously risk their job like that. And Kathy as the getaway driver was hilariously bad as well.

Shellingbynight · 24/02/2026 11:55

@Alucard - in reality you're right of course, but Lexi wants to live with Callum. And he takes her to see Ben once a fortnight, I can't see Kathy doing that, she doesn't even seem to visit Ben herself.

@thisoldcity it was SO bad! As if a house like that would not be locked up to the hilt, and have an alarm system and cctv, never mind a camera sat on the fridge. And how on earth would you ever find a memory stick anyway! One of the many reasons Callum is too dumb to be a cop.

I agree we need more normal family scenes, but instead we get Tim and Mark ramping up the criminality.

thisoldcity · 24/02/2026 12:13

@Shellingbynight Callum looked so surprised to find a camera in the house, as if he doesn't come across any sort of CCTV in his working life. Mind you, Albert Square does seem to be camera-free generally apart from phones. Walford is the place where people listen to the news on the radio and also read the local newspaper!

Shellingbynight · 24/02/2026 12:15

Yes that's true, it's like going back in time when you're in Walford so maybe Callum was astonished to find that once you've left the Square people have modern security in their houses 😆

NowNumber5 · 24/02/2026 12:34

Walford is the place where people listen to the news on the radio and also read the local newspaper!

And rifle through a collection of DVDs to watch 😂

I like Penny, I thought Vinny was very sweet the way he handled the news.
He made JackandJack look like a caveman.
Oscar and Pete-Ah are the new Zack and Mart-In, drinking buddies and bromancing.
The Branning/Fox family dinner was funny, but the kids are “upstairs having a picnic” - really??
So Penny did the test in the upstairs bathroom, but the test ended up in the downstairs kitchen bin 😅
I was just thinking why is Charli still in a pram the other day when they were saying goodbye to Sam (before she decided to stay) and then Lily and Ricky asked to borrow money for a new pram! She’s two and half , and they don’t go further than 10 metres anywhere!

the80sweregreat · 24/02/2026 12:54

Considering that Jack and Jack had a baby with Roxy ( ( Amy ) whilst also with Ronnie ( vague on the actual details there , but he definitely cheated on her I think ?) as well as all the other dodgy things his done over the years , he has a nerve !

lazymum99 · 24/02/2026 14:04

It’s all the handling of used pissed on pregnancy tests that gets me 🤮

the80sweregreat · 24/02/2026 15:31

Vinny was good with penny today.
The nonsense with Tim and co , I am zoning out of all that tbh.

Me too! 🤢

Eastie77Returns · 24/02/2026 16:15

Callum is supposedly a police officer but was tricked by a note that said if he didn't steal the USB Ben would get 10 more years. He didn't stop to question how exactly Ben would just get 10 additional years in prison? The whole storyline was nuts.

I was intrigued by Ravi's 2 page CV. What did he list under employment history: drug dealer, assassin. Hobbies: dangling kids from bridges.

Where is Amy?? Jack said he was going to phone her immediately when he thought she was pregnant.

Jordan, Raymond, Louie, Charli and baby Jimmy all stayed quietly upstairs without any adult supervision. The kids on Albert Square are angels.

the80sweregreat · 24/02/2026 16:28

Why couldn’t Callum get a visting order to see Ben and find out what was going on ? His been away for ages now. What could be on this USB stick ?
Callum Highway is the worst policeman ever. Even Jack and Jack has more common sense than he does, but it’s sometimes a low bar.
I was wondering what was on Ravi’s CV , apart from the restaurant business. Plus not too much money , yet he smashes up a Laptop ! That really annoyed me tbh. I hate seeing things thrown around or smashed up.

the80sweregreat · 24/02/2026 16:31

Yes, tricked by a note typed by out by anybody !
Johnny is better off without any funding or investments. Do lawyers need this , he is working from home isn’t he so no office costs to factor in.
Although I admit I don’t know how you’d go about it.
He hasn’t any money of his own I assume.

lazymum99 · 24/02/2026 16:35

Jonny spoke about going into the office. Though how he could pay rent on an office who knows. I also would think there are high insurance costs for lawyering in case it all goes tits up (which it will)

the80sweregreat · 24/02/2026 16:55

Considering he lives a few stops from the capital where I’m sure that lawyer jobs in a company are available, why is he going it alone ? I thought that many start out like that , but again ( I admit) it’s not a world I know anything about. He never seems to do any work , but that isn’t rare on the square.
He was found to be lurking around the b and b a few weeks ago!
