I don't like the presenters for the air thing - why do they have to make stupid comments instead of keeping it factual? Bring back David Vine.

I find him funny, most sports commentators are so dry. But, horses for courses!

I used to watch the Winter Olympics when I was a teenager in the ‘60s. There wasn’t much else to do.

The commentators are far more knowledgeable now (specialists I suppose) and many of the events are more exciting.

Team GB more in evidence, too. Lottery money?

Yes indeed. It’s a microgranite from Ailsa Craig - fine grained, hard, resistant to fracturing and rich in riebeckite, hence the blue/grey colour. Also resistant to moisture so perfect for use on ice.
