Well, we soared through the last thread again, so here's a shiny new one!

Corrie is pretty much based around the tragic death of Billy at the moment. Bernie is starting to lose the plot a bit, and ended up in a hotel room with a strange man who is the husband of someone Roy has been chatting to. (It's all a bit confusing!!!) Then she ended up unconcious in the ladies toilets!

Todd and Theo are still together - annoyingly - and Carl (Debbie's brother) has just heard Theo blabbing to Billy in his coffin how he's not a murderer, and he should have saved him, and so on. A guilty conscience, or self pity? (I'm guessing the latter.) Carl was listening (conveniently!) and smirked when he heard Theo 'confessing,' but I'm not sure what he's going to do with the information. Especially as shortly after, Theo saw Carl doing some dodgy dealing with some blokes, and he photographed him. So, they now have 'something' on each other!

Not much happening with the Driscolls at the moment, and Ma Driscoll and Eva have called a truce. But for how long???

Shona and David's new little baby (Harper) is still a bit fragile.

Shiny faced Megan Trainer the Siren who has men (and boys) eating out of her hand, is showing an unpleasant, dark side, after practically threatening Sam (Nick's son) if he blabs anything about her and Will.

And Carla and Lisa have inexplicably made up, as if nothing has happened. On the plus side however, at least we have got rid of the dreadful Undead Becky storyline.

Probably some more bits and bobs to discuss, but I'm sure we'll get to them soon.

I saw the actor who plays George yesterday in a wine bar near me. I really had to stop myself marching up to him and telling him to wake up to poor Todd’s suffering! 🙈

I think he should meet Theo's ex-boyfriend, who was also physically and emotionally abused by him. I'm not sure how that would happen, though.

He gets away with everything because they all, including Todd, think Theo is a victim of homophobia and religious fanaticism. They don't know that his behavior is who he is.

Not sure I can stomach any more of Todd and Theo, happy for DH to watch football on the other side tonight.

In fact I might give up Corrie for a while, the nightly misery is just too much.

I see we're being subjected to more of the Driscolls tonight! 🙄

Will is awful, a big gallump like that is very unconvincing as an athlete, his sulky face, his sighing every time he opens his mouth, just awful.

I agree @Deadringer but Daniel seems to have the measure of him now haha! Realises it was him who attacked him at Christmas.

Also, poor Todd. 😢

Will is the most unlikely athlete. Todd, James and Theo are all good amateur runners who look like runners. Will is supposed to be heading for the elite and he runs like a bad of spuds.

And suddenly Daniel is Poirot.

At least it looks as if Christina and George realise something is very wrong with Todd.

Carl was looking at the hotel insurance, of which he is the beneficiary (not sure why he would be, but still). So he is about to burn it down?

Did not see that ending coming!
Who knew Daniel would be a better detective than Kit!

I wonder how they are going to prove it was Will though? I must have missed something, how did Daniel work it out?

It was completely ridiculous. Daniel, who normally can't see the wood for the trees, hears Will was in a temper earlier and thinks "he doesn't like me, so it must have been him who hit me". There's no evidence, so unless Will admits it, it isn't going anywhere. Presumably it's intended to amp up the rivalry and hate in the Megan storyline.

I kind of agree @Shellingbynight so it looks like I didn't miss anything then, it was just Daniel assuming? They are going to find it hard to prove. Although Will trying to leg it when the police came hasn't done him any favours! 😆

It is Weatherfield, they may not need it but they could always charge Will's dad for punching Adam

The thing with George and the 10k was random.
Todd needs to leave Theo. I wished he would.

Meghan Trainer is just horrible. I hope Ma Driscoll finds out soon. Will is also horrible, but it’s all not entirely his fault I suppose. He has been brainwashed.

I am surprised it took him so long to suspect Will but he does not know for sure.

Lets hope Fit Kit does his job correctly and gets a confession of his dalliance with Megan Trainer from gormless Will and ends this tedious debarcle once and for all 🤞

DH and I both roared with laughter when we saw Will running to meet Megan. He was so ungainly and out of breath. A future athlete? I don't think so!

I think Ollie has a dark side to him. Poor Lauren after all she went through with Joel. Remember how he was with DD at first really strange and that weird outburst with Toyah !

George is more likely to be a great athlete than Will....In fact so was Kenneth the hairdresser.
