Well, we soared through the last thread again, so here's a shiny new one!

Corrie is pretty much based around the tragic death of Billy at the moment. Bernie is starting to lose the plot a bit, and ended up in a hotel room with a strange man who is the husband of someone Roy has been chatting to. (It's all a bit confusing!!!) Then she ended up unconcious in the ladies toilets!

Todd and Theo are still together - annoyingly - and Carl (Debbie's brother) has just heard Theo blabbing to Billy in his coffin how he's not a murderer, and he should have saved him, and so on. A guilty conscience, or self pity? (I'm guessing the latter.) Carl was listening (conveniently!) and smirked when he heard Theo 'confessing,' but I'm not sure what he's going to do with the information. Especially as shortly after, Theo saw Carl doing some dodgy dealing with some blokes, and he photographed him. So, they now have 'something' on each other!

Not much happening with the Driscolls at the moment, and Ma Driscoll and Eva have called a truce. But for how long???

Shona and David's new little baby (Harper) is still a bit fragile.

Shiny faced Megan Trainer the Siren who has men (and boys) eating out of her hand, is showing an unpleasant, dark side, after practically threatening Sam (Nick's son) if he blabs anything about her and Will.

And Carla and Lisa have inexplicably made up, as if nothing has happened. On the plus side however, at least we have got rid of the dreadful Undead Becky storyline.

Probably some more bits and bobs to discuss, but I'm sure we'll get to them soon.

They made a very odd casting choice for Will the athlete. There must be loads of young actors who would have looked the part and could do 'having a massive strop' equally badly well.

He looks a bit like R Si. Maybe he is related to R Sis mum. Was she called Lucy?

I think Ollie and Will are of mixed-heritage, aren’t they? When Ma Driscoll said that Will was like his mum because she has a temper, I thought the older brother actually looks a bit like Ruby and wondered if that unhinged woman who is her mum could have had a pair of secret kids before!

R si didn't really look like either parent. I hope he's enjoying his Mediterranean adventure with Bobby and Peter.

I think Daniel would have suspected Will from the get go only the evidence pointed to the homeless guy.

It was only after visiting the homeless guy in prison that Daniel realised it wasn’t him, so not a far stretch to suspect Will given their history and where the attack happened.

Laughable that Will tried to do a runner when Kit turned up, now he looks guilty.

Yes ! We said the same thing! He came lumbering around the corner with all the athleticism as a sack of spuds ! You would be hard pushed to find a worse running style - yet apparently he’s the UK’s answer to Usain Bolt .

Are the actors James , Theo and Todd amateur runners ?

What would be a nice thing is to do something like what Eastenders did some years ago and run the London Marathon.

EE did within their show but also the actors did or for real (and they edited into the show !/
for a character's brain tumor awareness and money went to that charity.

Them 3 could do a marathon and raise money and awareness for men's Domestic Abuse .

I think men's Domestic Abuse is very underfunded .

Obviously, they can't put it in the storyline like EE ...

But maybe Todd could use it later

You mean what I said in my previous post @bizzey ? I meant that on the show those characters are shown running to keep fit (amateurs) whereas Will is being trained at competitive level, yet they all look fit and credible whereas he looks like a sack of spuds.

I think James , Theo and Todd should now do the London Marathon for DV charity !!

But they completed the marathon..and I cried !! 😢🤣💞

It’s so funny when you see them running round the corner out of breath and it’s obvious they haven’t been running that long! Theo is never at work is he! Does he much work ? Scaffolding usually involves travel to other places!

Poor Todd’s feet though. I do feel sorry for him and everyone hasn’t any clue what his going through

I remember Todd saying to Theo he couldn't go and do another run as his feet were bleeding.
Then he ended up doing 2 more 😢.

It made me laugh that they are paying Megan Trainer to train him and all she does is make him run round the block while she stands there with a stopwatch.

His dad was a professional rugby player, why does he not just take the training ? Even Eva could manage the stopwatch.

We should all go ‘up north ‘and take out Theo! He wouldn’t stand a chance.

Megan Trainer is a terrible coach and mentor. As well as liking teenagers , she also had bad taste in skin care. There is no hope at all

I have hardly ran since I left school many years ago but even I know that it is daft to train on pavements and if your feet are bleeding it is probably because of crap running shoes

Poor Todd can’t afford decent running shoes can he!
His living on tinned soup and other people’s money atm , bless him
