First task is the classic buying task, but it's taking place in Hong Kong.

There's also a new companion show - 'Unfinished Business' - let's hope it's a return to form after several years of the 'All About Tom Allen' show 😆

I'm kinda with your son! Somewhat true about Megan, I loved her hostessing by being all sociable instead of getting the food out!

I don’t think they did that badly on this task compared to prior years tbh

megan messed up the negotiation and as always they mess up the cooking (but can’t blame them for that tbh if they’re not cooks)

Dan is a funny one - not risk averse but quite relaxed about things (like the pie making) - wonder how he will go on

i thought the way the fired guy was blamed was weird. At the point Megan blurted out 12 that was their ceiling. He shouldn’t have jumped in but I suspect he was worried Megan would go lower!!

Has she had surgery do you think? He keeps asking if she has and I have no idea!

it was funny she didn’t recognise Big Ben but a bit London centric to laugh at her about it as she obviously did know but was surprised as she’d never seen it before

I think they everyone is just so used to having mini computers at their fingertips, their brains freeze when faced with regular scaling up/down numbers.

I can’t figure it out though - is it the eyes or cheekbones? Or is it the new glassy skin make up? She’s an interesting one as she got her midwifery degree at 40 but then hasn’t pursued it as a career? Seems a waste. having 5 kids is quite something though!

DS can’t quite explain why she freaks him out but he’s hoping she’s fired soon!!

the other women are all younger and whilst some have had their lips done most seem reasonably natural?

as if the men, don’t want to only focus on the women, there don’t seem to be as many snazzy dressers this year - in prior years there were always a few who probably spent hours on their hair each morning!! Episode 3 and I still can’t remember a few of the male candidates

I think she made a lot of money on those buy to let properties and didn't need the midwife work? I'm speculating a bit.

I thought Tanmay came across well on Unfinished Business. He seemed really nice and intelligent.

I was surprised that the chicken team canapé people asked for such a small discount tbh. But then I was astounded at £25 for 6 canapés in the first place and even more so when LS said the egg teams clients would have paid £20 for 4!

I can’t watch the after show in its new format. Best times were when Adrian Chiles and Dara O’Briain hosted it. I didn’t even mind Tom something. It this new format just doesn’t work.

Is there an audience?

No. It's just like you're watching a podcast. I like it, tbh. Less showbizzy, more of a chat about the programme.

I really struggled to think of an egg dish you could sell at a market tbh so was impressed they came up with pasta. I think I would have ended up with pancakes!

Even if I had been starved half to death, and wanted nothing more than to eat carbonara, I would swerve Team Egg’s stall like the plague because I refuse to give attention to professional cockneys yelling at me and doing the hand waving wooooooah thing.

I think that pancakes would have sold well. You can upsell with different fillings.

And they are cheap and easy (in theory) but buying enough variety of fillings could be expensive?
