Anyone else looking forward to the new series?

First task is the classic buying task, but it's taking place in Hong Kong.

There's also a new companion show - 'Unfinished Business' - let's hope it's a return to form after several years of the 'All About Tom Allen' show 😆

It was a stroke of genius that sadly is lacking in the rest of the contestants although I do at times find her annoying I think she could be the only decent one there!

TitsInAbsentia · 20/03/2026 20:35

And because....contestants just used to be a totally different calibre...and it's that time of year again...

Thanks for that @TitsInAbsentia
Love that they were genuinely howling
(Geddit? Ba-dum-tish!
No?
OK then, I'll get my wolf coat...)
😂

Those were the days!!

NewAgeNewMe · 20/03/2026 22:03

Brilliant. Absolutely. Brilliant. Proper laughing here.

IHeartMyTissues · 20/03/2026 22:11

2nd week running I've been a day late watching - stuck on a train last night coming back from work thing.

Not that surprised Harry went - we haven't seen that much of him.

Continuing the trend of candidates having to earn their discount with the hand-picking garlic and mucking out the goats. Starting to feel a bit contrived.

The donut was very disappointing...looked nothing like a bird nest 🤣

Where I live a donut is called a gravy ring 😂😂

£100 fine per item seems harsh. I’m sure it used to be the standard price of the item?

Piggywaspushed · 21/03/2026 07:42

Interestingly we didn't even see one team get the Duster although they weren't fined.

I assume the blanket £100 penalty was to prevent them form focusing only on big ticket items and to make each item important- but you are right that it used to be calibrated . The triumphant carrying of the sweets on to the hovercraft only made sense once we knew what was at stake later.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 21/03/2026 07:48

I'm not sure it was a blanket £100 fine.
If so both teams would have been better off not buying the SUP or the wine.

Piggywaspushed · 21/03/2026 08:15

It was. All the missing items were fined £100.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 21/03/2026 08:31

I know the three missed items were all charged at £100 - but it would make no sense if the more expensive items would have been charged at the same rate - it would penalise the team who bought them 😲

Good point. Maybe it's both £100 PLUS the value of the item?

That is indeed true.

I think one team got the Duster. There were three hanging up in one of the shops (where the last SUP was dusty?) and the shop man told them what they were, asked if they wanted S M or L.

I thought it was a bakery or sweet item but imagined it was a 'nest' made of chocolate like a flake roughly made into a 'nest' with mini eggs in.

Karishma is brilliant. She's the only one with common sense.

She seems too competent so can see something happening in interviews and not making it through!

Yes, but we didn't see how the other team got one but they weren't fined so they must have I guess.

LotusLovett · 21/03/2026 14:48

I'm sure I heard Lord Sugar mention one team didn't get the duster.

Weren't they fined £100 for not getting it?
