Welcome to Thread 10 of Traitors 2026.

This thread runs at TV pace so do not read any further if you are not up to date with the live broadcast. Whilst most discussion will be on the current series, inevitably people will refer to previous series/players/winners so reader beware if you’ve not seen the 3 previous editions, or the celebrity version.

While we welcome posters discussing their theories and speculating on relationships/connections between players, please don’t post spoilers from elsewhere that may ruin things for those of us who like to see things unfold over the course of the series.

The story so far:

If I was suggesting a rule change, it’s that you’re not allowed to cover your face at the banishment when they reveal whether they’re faithful or traitor.

Give the Traitors some ‘emotional’ work to do knowing Faithfuls can watch your face.

I remember mentioning here during the first series that Wilf was making himself look suspicious because he was forever covering his face to hide his emotions during dramatic moments.

I don't think it's workable to try and ban it though.

Skybunnee · 22/01/2026 14:03

I can’t see Roxi or Jack achieving anything I’m afraid

Opolope · 22/01/2026 14:05

I really dislike the rule that the traitors have to recruit of there's only one left - especially this late in the game. Surely the faithful have done their job? Bringing in a random at such short notice isn't fair!

Alpacajigsaw · 22/01/2026 14:05

I don’t think the traitors have played a good game at all. Average at best. It’s just that the faithful are shite.

stillnoideawhatimdoing · 22/01/2026 14:07

@sorryIdidntmeanto I used to agree with you, absolutely. Watching Harry celebrate and be congratulated on being an incredible liar...I was honestly gutted. Kinda made me wondered why I even enjoyed the show if I was so against the idea that someone capable of that level of deception could be rewarded so greatly. Wanted the Faithful to see through him and win and for it to be a reward for the righteous. Live in a world where if you're good and honest you get rewarded. But mid-way through last season I switched and wanted the person who seemed to be playing the game best to win. At the end of the day it makes better tv when there are really good traitors, and we're watching it to be entertained.

Some people are really strategic and it seems like they deserve credit for that (though agree with so many that with editing it's hard to ever know for sure.) By the end last year was really torn between Frankie and Charlotte (obviously that went well in hindsight!). This season...I've been on team Rachel and Stephen since the very early days! Noone else really stood out for me as being able to win it (though I liked Harriet before she went nuclear). Either they were too bolshy and weren't going to survive or they've been silently coasting which doesn't feel like a worthy trait either. Though no denying it's a winning tactic!

TheGreenBow · 22/01/2026 14:08

It’s a shame Jack didn’t take on openly accusing Rachel seeing as he couldn’t be murdered. If someone has the shield at this point I think they should speak up a bit rather than remain almost totally silent and make no guesses or accusations whatsoever.

stillnoideawhatimdoing · 22/01/2026 14:09

@Opolope wouldn't that only have been if one of them was banished in the last episode though, ie before or instead of Matt? Pretty sure last season Charlotte was the last traitor standing going into the final 5 and she hadn't had to recruit. If either traitor is banished tonight I really don't think they have to recruit.

stillnoideawhatimdoing · 22/01/2026 14:10

@TheGreenBow does Jack also suspect Rachel?! Totally missed that. Interesting. Though did feel like everyone was naming almost everyone in the last few minutes.

The issue with Harry was he was SO two-faced with Molly. She was convinced they were deep friends and were in the game together.

I’ve not seen Stephen or Rachel build similar relationships or make what were pretty much promises.

I think Jack's going to win it. For absolutely no reason whatsoever, unless chaos theory counts 🤣

I think so too. Sheep carried to the end.

Traitors are two faced with everyone. It's literally their role.

She was clearly falling in love with him though. Much as I enjoy Traitors, I do sometimes wonder a bit. She's the only player I ever saw who didn't seem relaxed and happy in the interviews afterwards when the spell has broken for most people. There were a few moments in S1 that worried me a bit too.

He has to win it with someone else, though.

Can’t see him taking Jade through, and can’t see anyone taking James through so whichever of Roxy / Faraaz doesn’t get murdered?

I really don’t want a Jack / Faraaz win just because they’ve both been pretty invisible until the last episode.

stillnoideawhatimdoing · 22/01/2026 15:01

@SoScarletItWas i got Mollie vibes from Roxy when she was asking Rachel in the last episode. But yes agree Rachel hasn't hoodwinked quite so spectacularly as Harry

Ah no sorry I don’t think he does. But Faraaz confided in him separately about Rachel and they seemed to be friends in there. On the basis that Jack seems to have no idea himself of who could be a traitor, it would have been great if he’d just gone with it and been the one to speak up (instead of Faraaz). It just seems like a waste of a shield not to use it to be a bit outspoken (about anyone at all).

Phial · 22/01/2026 15:07

I liked it when Matty said "I'd rather you thought I was a traitor than that I [was a traitor] and stupid enough to give the dagger to James".
I couldn't really believe that they all fell for that.
I'm definitely Team Traitors now (unless they turn on each other). Otherwise, I think I am "anyone but James." I liked him to start with but he came out badly in the downfall of Matt yesterday.
Still, only two episodes to go and they have kept my interest until now.

To be fair to Harry he and Molly both talked about their partners off camera. If she was getting find of him he didn't mislead her. There is a lot of personal stuff edited out which i really like as I'm only interested in the game.

Harry played an excellent game and never lost sight of the fact it was a game. I think Jonny made the best comment when asked if he was upset Harry voted him out. Jonny said that Harry was trained in the army to follow orders and in Traitors that is all the traitors are doing, following the rules of the game. He wasn't upset at all.

Bestdrinkever · 22/01/2026 15:12

After last nights episode I think that James is Rachel’s brother.
she went into to hug him when I think Roxy hugged him and noticed from the side that they have the same nose.
she then later on gave him a sweet smile when he said goodnight to leave as she knows that he was upset about incorrectly guessing that Marty was a traitor.

Bestdrinkever · 22/01/2026 15:13

I obviously meant Matty

Yes! I noticed the same profile between Rachel and James 😃. I don't think they are related though but it added fuel to the "who is related to who?" speculation.

Umbilicat · 22/01/2026 15:23

Dh noticed it too - seems unlikely to me, but who knows?

THANK YOU!

People this week have me thinking I'm going mad because the thought of Rachel winning makes me want to rip my own corneas out.

I don’t dislike anybody (because it’s a game) and I don’t disagree when people say the traitors are playing a good game, but I normally want the faithful to win as well. I think because of the whole set-up… it’s like a mystery that needs to be solved. I don’t read crime novels and think ‘I hope they never catch them’. I want that fist-in-the-air moment of people realising they’ve cracked the case. The only exceptions to this have been series one, where the final faithful did my head in, and the last series because I really loved Minah as a Traitor… she brought some morals to it 😂

ilovesooty · 22/01/2026 16:03

I wish they'd stop having people connected to one another. I've found the endless speculation tedious and distracting from the game.

Production have already said there are no more secret relatonships.

We had two and they were revealed early on. Other series of Traitors UK have had secret relationships revealed no later that week 2.

I agree that the speculation has been tedious. I think some of it is just trolling.

rightoguvnor · 22/01/2026 16:08

Faraaz made a mistake bringing up his suspicions after the round table and before retiring for the night. This is the worst time to do so, you don’t have time to sway people to your opinion and you are feeding into the Traitors’ deliberations. Should have waited until breakfast time at least when you have the day ahead of you and others have time to consider your points.
