Welcome to Thread 10 of Traitors 2026.

This thread runs at TV pace so do not read any further if you are not up to date with the live broadcast. Whilst most discussion will be on the current series, inevitably people will refer to previous series/players/winners so reader beware if you’ve not seen the 3 previous editions, or the celebrity version.

While we welcome posters discussing their theories and speculating on relationships/connections between players, please don’t post spoilers from elsewhere that may ruin things for those of us who like to see things unfold over the course of the series.

Thoroughly enjoying it all! When is Uncloaked filmed? DP and I are trying to figure it out, sorry if this has already been covered and I’ve missed it.

Do they watch it an hour ahead of everyone else and film it on the day to avoid leaks? Obviously the production crew know to book the right guests! But they can’t let them all watch it months in advance…

I’m very much enjoying the clothing choices on this series. Claudia’s swing camel coat for the fairground mission was divine, and as for Stephen’s ‘anyone for tennis’ outfit today - brilliant. Fascinated by some of them being dressed for an arctic winter and others swanning about in tiny summer outfits.

Faraaz to be murdered tonight, but most importantly, what jumpsuit is Stephen going to wear to throw Rachel under the bus?

They film uncloaked on the day. The guests all watch it together and then they film the show.

Same for the final one. They whole crowd of them get together in the theatre to watch and then film uncloaked. They aren’t allowed to leave until the show airs later.

I am trying to remember - can two traitors win?

I can't recall if they ever have before and have been working out how it could happen. I think they start with five on the last evening, do a banishment at the table or fire pit, then Claud asks if they want to stop. At that point if they keep going and the traitors manage to banish the two remaining faithfuls, it would work yes? Or am I forgetting something obvious?

I think you're right in that two traitors have never won before. In series 2 when Harry and Mollie were the last two at the firepit, I remember them having to write something on their slates but I don't remember what it was.

No, once it's down to two players, the game ends as nobody can get voted out now. You're thinking of when Mollie and Harry chose to end game, but Jas voted to banished again.

Heh, I'm not sure James was civilised!

He was civilised on a scale of James! He was also way more civilised than Harriet!

If I was Rachel and I wanted to accuse a traitor of pinning Faraaz’s murder on me, I’d accuse Roxy. She accused Rachel in front of faraaz then dropped it quickly. Rachel could say that Roxy must have carried on talking about it to faraaz and was deliberately trying to get him to accuse Rachel in public so that when he was murdered it would implicate Rachel.

Would anyone believe that Roxy has the brains to do that? Maybe James would.

They must film the scene of them discovering who the Traitors are before the series begins airing, though!

Yes, that bit where they find out the traitors they do the next morning before they go home.

THANK YOU!

People this week have me thinking I'm going mad because the thought of Rachel winning makes me want to rip my own corneas out.

The faithfuls are so useless they don’t deserve to win.

123ZYX · 22/01/2026 12:29

JaneJeffer · 22/01/2026 12:21

That is a good point! Maybe Rachel would also have to suggest that the other traitor put her up to it. Maybe Jade?

Rachel works for a charity which looks to me like it does admirable work. She’s ’been a key member of the group since 2007’ and wasn’t initially in comms.

Link if you want it.

tanstaafl · 22/01/2026 12:41

If I was suggesting a rule change, it’s that you’re not allowed to cover your face at the banishment when they reveal whether they’re faithful or traitor.

Give the Traitors some ‘emotional’ work to do knowing Faithfuls can watch your face.

VBsWeddingDance · 22/01/2026 12:44

I find Rachel hard to warm to/ root for

I agree. I think she played the game well in the first few episodes. But she killed and voted off the wrong people which has positioned herself as the head girl and now it looks blatantly obvious she is a Traitor.

TheMadGardener · 22/01/2026 12:54

ThatCyanCat · 22/01/2026 11:59

Yes, they can, but I don't recall any who were happy to share and they've all tried to get the others out so they can take the full pot.

Never known any Faithful who were sure all Traitors were gone try to get more Faithfuls out to get more money.

Leanne and Jake absolutely voted off Alexander and Frankie at the end of season 3 in order to get more prize money. It was blindingly obvious after the Seer debacle that Frankie and Alexander were both faithfuls but clearly L and J decided they'd like 50% of the prize money each rather than 25%.

Wow everyone’s assumed “Head of comms” means she’s rolling in it, bashing heads to climb a corporate ladder, that she doesn’t really need the money for her mum, but she’s been working for a charity offering frontline services and programmes to help employability. Thanks for sharing the link!

CharlotteRumpling · 22/01/2026 12:56

Leanne and Jake are my all time most disliked winners. So dull/ bolshy.

Edited

Personally I think it’s completely understandable to want to end with just one other player.

To me, wanting to end the game with 3 people left is “Traitor Behaviour” - why wouldn’t you want to end the game with the minimum number of people unless you knew it didn’t make a difference because you (as a Traitor) will be taking it all.

I agree, and subsequent visits to Uncloaked haven't made me warm to them.

Having said that Matthew came across well last night

Columbidae · 22/01/2026 13:20

Rachel mentioned that a traitor pair had never won during the conversation when she and Stephen promised to never write each others name down. She also said when Hugo went that she was glad as she had always been planning to get rid of one traitor and stick with the other.

It's why I think she genuinely is hoping to go to the end with Stephen. It's a far safer strategy to protect each other all the way and get half the money than stand alone and risk getting nothing.

Yes, I agree.

It reflects well on her, in my opinion.

I am not sure if that would be enforceable - when a member of our team announced they were moving on recently, I saw my face on screen with my hand over my mouth in shock and wasn't aware I'd done it!

Pinkbox · 22/01/2026 13:26

Though I suppose the traitors wouldn't actually BE shocked...!

CharlotteRumpling · 22/01/2026 13:30

I personally don't care if any of the Traitors are rich as the Beckhams. I don't care how much they need it, just how much they have worked for it
Jack may need it the most but he could have been replaced by a potted plant and I wouldn't have noticed.

Handeyethingyowl · 22/01/2026 13:42

I have found yesterday’s episode a bit boring as it was just faithfuls going after faithfuls until the end. Now they’ll just murder Faz and claim they would never double bluff etc. The faithfuls have now had three people prepared to sacrifice themselves on the basis that Rachel is a traitor and they have ignored this completely (particularly Roxy whose blind passion about everything is really grating). I can’t warm to Rachel and find Stephen very weak! It’s more fun when there is not a one-sided pact among the traitors. The atmosphere has been a bit odd for the whole season.

Rachel would throw Stephen under the bus tomorrow short perhaps of voting for him and I am glad he is now considering this.

LindorDoubleChoc · 22/01/2026 13:43

I've loved Stephen and Rachel right from the very start and want them to win so badly! I love their pact about not writing each other's name on the slate (let's see if they stick to it 😂) but that is the only promise they've made to each other. Rachel was absolutely right to say to Stephen in the turret that she has to appear to suspect him, and vice versa. She is the coolest and brightest person in there by a mile, but it was uncomfortable seeing her having a slight wobble when Faraaz said his bit.

I dislike Jade and don't want her to go any further. She uses the same tactics as that awful Barbie faithful who won last year - gets bitchy or emotional or personal with anyone who has the temerity to bring up her name. I'll hate it if she gets to the end.

I don't mind Roxy, Jack or James although James must be annoying to be around. He seems immature for 38. I don't get the Faraaz love, he's just coasting. Hope they bump him off!

stillnoideawhatimdoing · 22/01/2026 13:57

C8H10N4O2 · 21/01/2026 21:10

That would force Stephen into recruiting instead of being able to murder - he would be mad to let hat happen

@C8H10N4O2 Could be wrong but I think tonight would be the last opportunity to recruit, and they seemed like they were going to murder.

So after Wednesday episode - murder (or recruit but why would you at this point?!)
Thursdays episode - banishment, no murder or recruitment opportunities
Friday - there are 5 left and from that point they don't reveal if faithful or traitor as they leave.

With all the confidence of someone sitting on the sofa think Jade & Roxy both said James was confusing them so....would murder Faraaz tonight, play it as too obvious (worked with Stephen/Jessie!), try and keep Jade and Roxy on their James vote tomorrow so he gets banished with 4 votes. I think this is their last chance to get Faraaz out, and he won't let Rachel get to the final if he stays.

Then it's two traitors, Roxy (faithful with traitor loyalties) Jack, and a faithful that's had loads of heat on them from the the start in the final. Jade will go in the first round of the final roundtable...then I think Stephen will go. I can't see how Stephen and Rachel could turn it on to either Jack or Roxy. So they'll either end it as Roxy, Jack, Rachel and she'll take the pot or Roxy and Jack will take Rachel out for a faithful win.

But then this is the traitors and thing can turn on a dime so 🤷🏿
