Stephen follows others with his votes so can’t go for Rachel. It’s going to look awful suspicious if he doesn’t vote for her though, having spent all day dripping poison.

He has done well for someone so terrible at it.

True but at breakfast she hadn’t even arrived so he was using an opportunity to drop her in it, not responding to it.
