Welcome to Thread 8 of Traitors 2026.

This thread runs at TV pace so do not read any further if you are not up to date with the live broadcast. Whilst most discussion will be on the current series, inevitably people will refer to previous series/players/winners so reader beware if you’ve not seen the 3 previous editions, or the celebrity version.

While we welcome posters discussing their theories and speculating on relationships/connections between players, please don’t post spoilers from elsewhere that may ruin things for those of us who like to see things unfold over the course of the series.

Jessie, James and Adam are the potential murder candidates, but both Jessie and James have shields.

So that's about 6 months after filming...

Rachel and Stephen have just told us that Faraaz, Jessie and Matt will not be in the final.

I've also seen Sam's wife on instagram and it's definitely not Rachel, she's blonde and northern English.

I'm intrigued as to what is in the other envelope though, the camera has definitely started to linger on it a bit more.

Are they still showing close ups of Who's Who in the library?

I'm so unconvinced about further connections in the castle though, the Ellie and Ross one was picked up pretty early on by the internet sleuth's.

They don't know because they aren't listening to the clues. They completely disregarded Fiona and Harriet. The least they should have done is worked in unison and voted for Rachel. They don't know if she is or isn't a traitor but equally they don't know if anyone else is or isn't a traitor.
I agree with this. What else have they got to go on? Fiona (traitor, so knows) and Harriet (sacrificed herself so they would listen to her) both said it was Rachel, so...why don't they just take a punt and vote Rachel?! It's the most compelling 'evidence' they've got so far.

Are they still showing close ups of Who's Who in the library?

Haven’t noticed one for a while, but I’ve been zoning out of the bits where they’re all chatting in the castle as it’s a bit boring

They're not. Sam mentioned wanting the money to start a family.

Rachel already has kids.

I think if there are further connections it’ll be one more maximum.

More likely if there is something hidden the theme is “secrets”, so everyone’s gone in with a secret - some we know (Roxy / Judy, Ellie / Ross, Harriet, Amanda, Rachel) and some we don’t.

I think some posters are just making fun now.

Like how Ellie and Jade are related because they're both tall and slim.😆

Oh but I love it when Stephen does it. He's like a pantomime TinTin.

And Rachel definitely doesn’t trust Matt, so even if Stephen goes and she’s forced to recruit I don’t think she’d choose him (I’m not sure whether Stephen would or not)

Same. It was selfish to grab a shield, when he could’ve just asked his teammates if he could take one, as people in other teams did (including Rachel and Stephen). Or told only them straight away, to keep them all protected.

But it worked. He is still in, whereas he could v easily have been murdered if he didn’t take the shield.

Also agree he’s more prone to impulse and they should get that.

But I can understand Roxy being suspicious. James could easily be a Traitor. I’d probably suspect him. At this point, it’d be foolish to rule anyone out. So, any dodgy behaviour is risky.

I think my favourite connection conspiracy is that ‘everyone in the castle has had sex with Ross at some point’.

James would be a fantastic sacrificial recruit for the traitors. He’d probably just run up to everyone saying he hadn’t been recruited as a traitor.

No wonder he always looked so stressed - imagine being stuck in a castle with all your exes!

Rachel and Stephen and Jessie at the final, that would be insane. Stephen might have to just reveal himself out of guilt 😂, bless him.

I think I want Jessie to win as she has stuck her neck out the most.
Or Rachel and Stephen as a team.

Regarding Jessie, they are damned if they do and damned if they don’t.

Surely Rachel won’t win.

Would the remaining Faithful be prepared to take a risk of ending the game with her still in after the accusations made against her by both a Traitor and a Faithful?

Stephen is playing a great game. He is out to win it. Don't think for a second he wouldn't sacrifice Jessie.

I swear that him at Nettie had had a fling. Who would remember someone they met once 15 years ago? You’d be there for ages trying to work out where you knew them from.
