Welcome to Thread 8 of Traitors 2026.

This thread runs at TV pace so do not read any further if you are not up to date with the live broadcast. Whilst most discussion will be on the current series, inevitably people will refer to previous series/players/winners so reader beware if you’ve not seen the 3 previous editions, or the celebrity version.

While we welcome posters discussing their theories and speculating on relationships/connections between players, please don’t post spoilers from elsewhere that may ruin things for those of us who like to see things unfold over the course of the series.

I think the second envelope just has the info we already know. The players in game won't aware of it, but as we already know (as viewers), it's not interesting TV.
Either that or there's another 'secret' relationship we don't know about yet which will be revealed when that player leaves and we'll get a montage.
The edit has given up on showing us "Who's Who 1934" every 5 mins at least

Yes my guess it’s the reveal of secret relationships but possibly only the ones we already know about.

My son was obsessed with the Loch Ness Monster as a child and the first photograph was published in 1934.

Hoax obviously, so perhaps it is another fishy object, a red herring?

To get the heat off Rachel they should try and fail to murder whoever got the shield in her group.

I have to do the kids bedtime and I'm so tired I think I'll fall asleep but I want to see how the traitors pans out

@Sminty2 @scissy that's my guess. They showed the second envelope being opened when revealing Judy and Roxy's relationship (was it to Netty?), so just presumed that was always what's in there but we'll only see that on screen when it's juicy. So when Roxy or Ellie go, if they have someone in the post banishment/murder room with them like with Judy and Netty, then we'll see the envelope reveal. Otherwise saving the airtime.

Good point. They seemed more focussed on a murder than self-preservation.

Stephen steered the discussion about Rachel’s group, which may suggest he’s not overly bothered about taking heat off Rachel.

I’d would have laughed at the FBI comment too!
There's so many gullible types in there who just can’t see Rachel as a traitor! Ellie supposed to be a psychologist yet she heard Rachel led the vote against her boyfriend and she still doesn’t suspect her and then voted for Jade!
So annoyed at Harriet if she had just stayed calm , discussed it with smaller groups she might have sewn seeds of doubt instead she got angry, accused half the group and blew it.
