Welcome to Thread 8 of Traitors 2026.

This thread runs at TV pace so do not read any further if you are not up to date with the live broadcast. Whilst most discussion will be on the current series, inevitably people will refer to previous series/players/winners so reader beware if you’ve not seen the 3 previous editions, or the celebrity version.

While we welcome posters discussing their theories and speculating on relationships/connections between players, please don’t post spoilers from elsewhere that may ruin things for those of us who like to see things unfold over the course of the series.

The story so far (as at end of Ep 6):

Traitors
Hugo
Rachel
Stephen
Fiona (Secret Traitor)

Murdered
Netty
Ben
Maz
Reece

Banished
Judy (Faithful)
Hugo (Traitor)
Ross (Faithful)
Amanda (Faithful)
Fiona (Traitor)
Harriet (Faithful)

Jessie, James and Adam are the potential murder candidates, but both Jessie and James have shields.

The floor is yours…

I maintain that Sam and Rachel are connected. His comment about hoping she wins when he found out, plus the fact they left in the edit him saying he wanted to go and see his wife as he was banished.

Also interesting that Adam and Sam confirmed they didn’t know about the Secret Traitor until episode one aired.

How do you think they are connected? Sorry, not following the comment about him saying he wanted to see his wife?

H202too · 15/01/2026 21:44

What happened at the end of uncloaked?

What happened at the end of uncloaked?

The camera went to Sam who was sitting in Ed Gamble's seat and did the sign off. Then the camera went to Ed sitting in Sam's place on the sofa, looking confused.

I can’t believe they all ignored Harriet’s warning about Rachel.

I think it's coz although Harriet was brilliant she got a bit emotional and seemed angry at the end, and seemed like she just somehow had it in for Rachel. She became for a moment a bit like Fiona and that put people off.

I think they’re married.

We have to understand that the producers leave every comment in for a reason. I bet every exit speech the banished say how much they’re looking forward to seeing their family. I think it was Sam giving a message to Rachel to say “I can’t wait to see you on the outside”.

There have been so many looks between them, just like with Ross and Ellie.

i totally accept I may be barking up the wrong tree, and I’m not going to go stalking social media to prove myself right or wrong. We’ll just have to wait and see!

They pick up and hyper focus on the weirdest things. Why would Sam gunning for a shield make him a traitor? They focus on this and not all the ‘evidence’ Jessie laid out at the RT?

I’d be saying, why do you keep popping up in all these facts Stephen? The reaction to Fiona, the cages, the library? On their own they mean nothing but together… Stephen’s always there!

Sentientbean · 15/01/2026 21:50

If the traitors murder Jessie tonight then the faithfuls will unwittingly have conspired to have left themselves with no brains whatsoever.

Interesting. I didn't get that vibe from them & have never considered that but, as you say, you never know.

Brilliant ending from Uncloaked.

I missed the end - what happened?

Hobnobswantshernameback · 15/01/2026 21:55

There's a bloke on Rachel's insta wearing a "my wife is a traitor" t shirt who is most definitely not Sam

I think the whole connections thing is getting a bit daft now

Worriedaboutrayvon · 15/01/2026 21:56

Rachel’s not married to Sam. Her husband is on her Instagram and it’s not him

Edited

And Sam’s wife is all over his instagram

ANiceBigCupOfTea · 15/01/2026 22:02

The traitors deserve to win at this point. These faithful are daft.

pouletvous · 15/01/2026 22:03

@CaveMum

dont you look at their

You are right. Rachel popped up on my Instagram feed and I was surprised to see some of her photos were taken in places near to me and then realised she lives not very far from where I am.

CaveMum · 15/01/2026 22:08

If I wrong I’m wrong. I don’t look at other peoples socials, where’s the fun in that? 🤪

@CaveMum I thought they dropped in that comment about Sam being excited to go see his wife as a bombshell because up until then I really thought he was gay

Oneforallandallforone · 15/01/2026 22:15

The traitors can murder whoever they feel like. The faithfuls don't have a clue and aren't working together. The only way the faithfuls can effectively choose who to banish is to work as a team and for the majority to pick off each player one by one (preferably with some sort of logic applied). Instead they are all doing their own thing and the banishments are a lottery.

Er…

they aren’t working together because they don’t know who is a traitor and who is a faithful and can’t team up

Beachtastic · 15/01/2026 22:23

WonderfulSmith · 15/01/2026 20:08

Who is Jack? I thought this was James.

Jack is actually really hot, if you look under the hair and glasses and earring. I'm not sure why he tries to look like my granny!

AlwaysRightISwear · 15/01/2026 22:26

I would like to see Matthew and Roxy go for different reasons. I don't think the traitors trust Matthew.

I hope Jessie makes it to the final.

The task was terrifying.

Beachtastic · 15/01/2026 22:26

cariadlet · 15/01/2026 20:17

I feel sympathetic towards James.

He made a selfish decision which went against the team's decision but he did own up when they got back to the castle and then owned up again at breakfast.

I think his ADHD and impulsivity play a part in his behaviour.

Me too. I think it's pretty dumb of Roxy to think it was traitorish behaviour. She just got all judgey about him and decided he should go.

Oneforallandallforone · 15/01/2026 22:29

Louielovecharlotte · 15/01/2026 22:21

Er…

they aren’t working together because they don’t know who is a traitor and who is a faithful and can’t team up

They don't know because they aren't listening to the clues. They completely disregarded Fiona and Harriet. The least they should have done is worked in unison and voted for Rachel. They don't know if she is or isn't a traitor but equally they don't know if anyone else is or isn't a traitor. They are choosing not to work together. In previous episodes, by now some trusted faithfuls would have worked together to influence others to join their vote and then at the RT, the majority rule.

In all the other series, they have managed to do this with more success than failure

This lot are determined to keep their nose dry. Take, for example, Ellie was quite happy to be voted the blandest. I don't believe she knows who the traitors are and is just pretending to be clueless. She is genuinely useless yet happy to coast along.
