Welcome to Thread 7 of Traitors 2026.

This thread runs at TV pace so do not read any further if you are not up to date with the live broadcast. Whilst most discussion will be on the current series, inevitably people will refer to previous series/players/winners so reader beware if you’ve not seen the 3 previous editions, or the celebrity version.

While we welcome posters discussing their theories and speculating on relationships/connections between players, please don’t post spoilers from elsewhere that may ruin things for those of us who like to see things unfold over the course of the series.

The story so far (as at end of Ep 6):

Traitors
Hugo
Rachel
Stephen
Fiona (Secret Traitor)

Murdered
Netty
Ben
Maz
Reece

Banished
Judy (Faithful)
Hugo (Traitor)
Ross (Faithful)
Amanda (Faithful)
Fiona (Traitor)

This thread is starting mid-way through Episode 7, so goodness only knows what is going to happen in the Round Table Showdown that is brewing.

The floor is yours…

Doubt it, they say whoever it is is "outwardly sweet".

Well she was.....until she wasn't! I can't imagine Jessie or Reese, who'd be the only other sweet contenders for me.

Well done 9 year old!

It was strange that she didn't mention the one piece of "evidence" that might have helped, that she believed Fiona vs Rachel was traitor on traitor.

My big question was why did she not say she believed it was traitor on traitor. That was her biggest and best point. Despite the fact that her breakfast anger had already ruined it for her.

I was assuming Jessie, actually, as she seems to be touchy-feely with quite a few of the other contestants.

Jessie? She’s very touchy-feely, arms all over James. Although it seems well received and taken as friendly so not sure.

Agree, there's a different vibe with contestants, and it only really seems to be with James, I can't imagine her hugging crew unasked.

Maybe she is someone who needs to prepare her points and can't think on her feet? It would explain what happened. When her breakfast plan was disrupted it threw her whole plan out.

ThePoshUns · 15/01/2026 13:04

Yes wasn’t Jessie sat on James lap in one scene?

LighthouseLED · 15/01/2026 13:05

Unless it was Netty - she practically mounted someone she hadn’t seen for 10-15 years!

murasaki · 15/01/2026 13:05

Could be Hugo, i can imagine him having a lack of boundaries due to self perceived power. Not outwardly sweet though, so probably not.

murasaki · 15/01/2026 13:08

Either way, I'm glad the crew felt confident enough to speak up.

Agree. I understand that isn’t always the case in that industry, so at least it seems like it’s a reasonable programme to work on.

Hoolahoophop · 15/01/2026 12:40

I have no idea why Rachel is so popular though, nothing in the editing shows her as more likeable than the others.

I think it's because she's calm and has a sort of reassuring way about her when chatting in the kitchen etc. No one but us/Stephen/Fiona has seen her terrifying steely eyes when she declares that she won't back away from a fight!

Lillers · 15/01/2026 13:16

I wonder if Harriet wanted to avoid planting a “traitor on traitor” seed in case the others then thought what she was doing was traitor on traitor… although once she’d decided to get herself banished she might as well have thrown it out there.

NotDarkGothicMama · 15/01/2026 13:31

I had to catch up as DH was out last night, but my 2 pennies' worth:

  • I loved Harriet in the chapel. She blew it at breakfast, her evidence at the RT was ridiculously weak and she lost the faithful entirely when she started naming half the room.
  • I felt quite a lot of respect for Roxy standing up against the breakfast ranting.
  • Harriet being proved faithful doesn't prove her theory about who's a traitor and I'm confused as to why she'd think it would.
  • Faraaz to win.

Yes I’d really like to see more of Faraaz and Jade.

Why do people keep accusing Jade?

Thinking on her feet is surely a pre-requisite for being a barrister?

Alpacajigsaw · 15/01/2026 13:45

I wonder how much the NPC blokes actually contribute that we don’t see?

Wheezygonzalez · 15/01/2026 13:47

PinkPanther57 · 15/01/2026 13:43

She’s not an overtly smiley woman and therefore seen as cold/ has something to hide. As someone who has a less than neutral resting facial expression (don’t like the actual term) I empathise.

Maybe that is why she is an ex barrister and decided to write novels where she can control reactions?

Me too. She's done nothing to make herself look like a traitor, not that she's had much airtime to do anything. It was Amanda's bizarre take that put her in other people's minds. As a naturally pissed off looking person, I feel a bit sorry for her.

Why do people keep accusing Jade?

She’s female, young, beautiful, clever, doesn’t smile much, certainly no performative friendliness or giggling

Suspicious

familyissues12345 · 15/01/2026 13:55

Here with my two pennies worth, but anyone else get irked by Jessie’s hugely exasperated face at the breakfast table? Can she open her mouth any wider!
