Welcome to Thread 7 of Traitors 2026.

This thread runs at TV pace so do not read any further if you are not up to date with the live broadcast. Whilst most discussion will be on the current series, inevitably people will refer to previous series/players/winners so reader beware if you’ve not seen the 3 previous editions, or the celebrity version.

While we welcome posters discussing their theories and speculating on relationships/connections between players, please don’t post spoilers from elsewhere that may ruin things for those of us who like to see things unfold over the course of the series.

The story so far (as at end of Ep 6):

Traitors
Hugo
Rachel
Stephen
Fiona (Secret Traitor)

Murdered
Netty
Ben
Maz
Reece

Banished
Judy (Faithful)
Hugo (Traitor)
Ross (Faithful)
Amanda (Faithful)
Fiona (Traitor)

This thread is starting mid-way through Episode 7, so goodness only knows what is going to happen in the Round Table Showdown that is brewing.

The floor is yours…

I'd have to take notes into the round table as I'd never remember the points I wanted to make. Matthew said something about remembering who everyone had voted for so, presumably, they have paper and pens in their hotel room.

Theory incoming - don't think I have seen this before - could Ellie be Harriet's daughter? Similar looks and hair.

Going against the grain, I like Rachel - she has played a very clever game and you have to admire her for that. Ideally I would like her and Stephen to share the prize money - it would make a very 'nice' ending for a change.

Maybe Ellie is related to them all.

Isekaied · 15/01/2026 11:44

I thi k they need to get rid of Jessie ASAP.

No one will ever vote her off. And she doesn't seem to suspect Stephen anymore.

If she's not a threat, it doesn't matter if she stays in.

Isekaied · 15/01/2026 11:50

FishfingerFlinger · 15/01/2026 10:37

On a different point - Matthew not revealing his questions and his reasoning for not revealing them looks sussy-sus-sus - I don't know why he didn't make up questions and answers! He's put himself in the firing line there and I can't understand why.

The only thing he's got going for him right now is

If they don't kill anyone.

He can say he asked the traitors who they would kill.

And that Jessie had a shield.

So the traitors were not in that group because the traitors didn't know Jessie had a shield.
That's if he wanted to go against the traitors

rachel would turn against Stephen rather than share imo! I think she’s been genuine when she’s made it clear that it’s everyone for themself in this game. That’s why I hope Stephen has the guts and calculates the right timing to turn on Rachel first. My gut feeling is that Stephen probably would be prepared to go for a joint win, but he seems pretty savvy so hopefully knows Rachel will throw him under the bus at some point

If she's not a threat, it doesn't matter if she stays in.

She's in a clique with the 2-3 guys.

They seem quite easily influenced ced by her.

If the traitors aren't in favour with her she will easily vote them out if any of the guys suspect them.

H202too · 15/01/2026 11:54

I am not a fan of Rachel. I find her annoying.

I really don't know how they weren't caught out with the family tree and murder in plain sight family tree. Wasn't it Jessie that said I will
leave you both alone. Then the finger prints appeared.

I find the editing hard this year. I know it's a prize show, so there must be regulations to not allow interference. However the choice of who enters breakfast first-last is down to production, and I dare say Harriet may have presented differently had she been first in. Randomly a majority of the time I'm watching I feel constantly reminded of the trump editing fiasco. I will continue to watch, and overall I'm enjoying it, however something just feels off about this series. Maybe it's because I'm not rooting for anyone

I agree with this. I wonder if production saw Rachel feeling very stressed and so made sure she went to breakfast before Harriet so that she had more of an advantage.

I think if Harriet had gone in first and Rachel much later it would have played out very differently. It’s a shame as it would have been much better imo if Harriet had dealt with it more calmly at breakfast maybe by getting to breakfast first and having time to get herself together.

Apparently her daughter os called Eloise and is 17. Ellie fits and could be 18 now but does she look 18?

Its Predicable that Rachel will be in the final. I would have preferred it to be Harriet. She seems more genuine to me as a person. It can’t have been easy for her being at the castle with so much alcohol around when she has struggled with alcoholism in the past.
I can’t stand the herd mentality and the way they fawn over Rachel. I was surprised that Jessie voted Harriet out. Roxy is the most irritating person there. It was nauseating listening to her last night. I’m hoping Matty goes next seeing as he was so keen to be seduced - “pick me, pick me, pick me” 🤮
Ellie does not give you much faith in psychologists. I thought she would be better as sussing people out. 🐑 🐑 🐑

She’s very smart, a ploy? She’s still in there & underestimated IMO…So…

Ellie Is in her 30s

IVotedForYourself · 15/01/2026 12:01

Ellie is 33.

Harriet is 52/53.
I don’t think she is the type to have had a child at 19/20.

ThatCyanCat · 15/01/2026 12:03

Ellie is beautiful but definitely not a teenager.

BareCarpet · 15/01/2026 12:04

I have seen Jessie intimate with James and Jack, therefore the three Js are in a polygamous relationship. Discuss.

I suggested they might be siblings although she’s very touchy feely with them so not sure now 😬

It was very difficult to watch how emotional she was.
I think this game is particularly hard for people who are innocent, honest and have very good insights.

Easier if you’re a good liar and/or clueless, regardless of assigned role.

Edited

Yes ultimately Rachel outplayed her. Rachel was shaken by Harriet coming for her so strongly but she totally held her nerve and was convincing under pressure, whereas Harriet didn’t. Like her or not, Rachel’s steely determination and unflappability is very impressive!

TheGreenBow · 15/01/2026 12:07

Noticed that Harriet and Rachel aren’t following each other on Instagram….

I’m surprised they’re allowed to post so much on their accounts - they obviously can’t and don’t give anything away but I’d have thought they’d have been told to wait until the game is finished.

IVotedForYourself · 15/01/2026 12:09

Harriet became a caricature of herself last night.

They're probably encouraged to fan the flames without blowing them out.

About 19 minutes their take on Rachel.

Really worth a listen. Thanks for sharing, I was going to Google what Head of Communications does!

Rachel is obviously good at what she does. Like Harry she is popular and although she has more suspicion than him she is able to stay cool and divert attention.

PinkPanther57 · 15/01/2026 12:10

Do the winners come from nowhere re: other, past series? Under the radar until about the next episode today?

What happens if you’re on the show & don’t have ‘socials’? A prerequisite?

I think from a production point of view, sending Harriet in first would have given a much more bigger advantage to Harriet than sending Rachel in first gave to Rachel - sending them both in towards the end but Rachel first seems to me the most "neutral" way that production could have handled it.

No. Harriet's children are late teens.
