Welcome to Thread 7 of Traitors 2026.

This thread runs at TV pace so do not read any further if you are not up to date with the live broadcast. Whilst most discussion will be on the current series, inevitably people will refer to previous series/players/winners so reader beware if you’ve not seen the 3 previous editions, or the celebrity version.

While we welcome posters discussing their theories and speculating on relationships/connections between players, please don’t post spoilers from elsewhere that may ruin things for those of us who like to see things unfold over the course of the series.

The story so far (as at end of Ep 6):

Traitors
Hugo
Rachel
Stephen
Fiona (Secret Traitor)

Murdered
Netty
Ben
Maz
Reece

Banished
Judy (Faithful)
Hugo (Traitor)
Ross (Faithful)
Amanda (Faithful)
Fiona (Traitor)

This thread is starting mid-way through Episode 7, so goodness only knows what is going to happen in the Round Table Showdown that is brewing.

The floor is yours…

I just got caught up on this thread and the episodes.
My notes are:

  1. I think they've chosen James who is shielded
  2. I absolutely cannot stand Roxy.
  3. I think Rachel's gig is up, maybe not tomorrow but Friday. 4)I think harriers Rat speech was A LOT longer than what was shown. 2 people mentioned how long it was yet for us, it was less than a minute. 5)They edited the bit where Roxy interrupted Harriet. The next scene was Roxy arms on her face all came but two second before was her flapping her arms about.
  4. they are all very stupid
  5. I wish they'd pick up on Rachel's flawed voting. And question her on her micro expression training by so far getting everything wrong. And also by being soooo desperate to win, she'd pay to go on a course. I can't stand her

I can't believe that such courses exist, run by the FBI, probably just some online thing.

Are Rachel and Matty related?

that could be awesome.

I am so onto this theory! I don’t think Rachel liked the idea of recruiting Matthew as a sacrifice for this reason.

I’m so disappointed with Harriet. I did not see that coming. I personally think she threw in the towel as soon as she got that smoky mirror which she saw as a poisoned chalice. She decided to go hard or go home and she went far too hard unfortunately! She might have recovered it if she’d kept calm at breakfast.

Rachel is controlling the game so brilliantly that she’s infuriating the other alpha females.

I really want to see the faithful win but I only really have hopes on Jessie and Sam being clever enough to work it all out and sadly I don’t think they’re influential enough to get the team behind them.

Surely if they did everyone in serious crime or planning to overthrow a government would be taking these wonderful ‘behind the scenes at the FBI’ courses

Stephen survived all the early heat bring one of the 5 in the library when Ben made his comment and Jesse had thought of him as a Traitor for so long but now doesn't mention it at all

The " I had FBI training " so I'm so good at spotting the micro expressions that I voted for Ross 😂

At one point tonight I had convinced myself that if you buy into the theory that others are connected somehow to another player perhaps it's Matty connected to Rachel or Stephen, will get recruited & then they will throw the other non connected Traitor under the bus

I would have murdered Roxy for being annoying - harsh but I don't warm to her , Ellie us playing a good bland game - dont reveal your a psychologist or you will be next

The heat went off Stephen after Fiona was revealed.

I think Harriet's hand was forced by winning the meet a traitor task. I don't think she was ready to reveal all but she couldn't think of anything to say to avoid revealing her suspicions of Rachel so went nuclear instead.

Seriously, do any writers earn a decent wage?! 😅

Apparently her book sales have soared and they're not cheap on Amazon, no 99p or Unlimited for her books!

AlwaysRightISwear · 15/01/2026 00:01

Posted too soon

Telling a killer in private you suspect them is a surefire way to make yourself the next victim.

Yes she's had enough and someone said ...a clever way to get out of the game at the round table !
I think she has even plotted her exit

Yes, another one (Fiona) who wants to be remembered and leave with a big bang. Fiona wants to be a future Traitor celebrity and Harriet wants the publicity for her books.

I would have reacted exactly like Harriet to Roxy - who sees herself as the most popular person ('is it me?") - if she'd told me off for interrupting someone (especially as it was Rachel who can stand up for herself).

I don't think I'd have lasted as long as Harriet. Think I'd have taken Claudia hostage and demanded my return to society after Reece was murdered. Everyone left is so dull except for Rachel. Who is so plausible, but Machiavellian, I think her friends will be changing their phone numbers!!!
I hope there is still some good action to come....

Watch for Ellie…a dark horse.

One of her books was on Unlimited, don’t know if it still is - The Lies You Told

I genuinely think I would have wanted out of this series if I had been in the castle. No-one is listening to people’s suspicions and a scatter-gun approach prevails. All middle-aged people have been murdered or banished. Recent episodes have left me with a very unpleasant taste in my mouth - it feels much more toxic at this stage than previous series.

Jessie would be the only one to put two and two together now if she survives.

I'd have thought 'Stuff this for a game of soldiers' as well. You can't just walk out, so the only option is to go rogue and get yourself either banished or murdered.

PinterandPirandello · 15/01/2026 00:05

Yes, thinking there’s more to Ellie. She doesn’t get a lot of airtime but said something like there being more secrets to reveal after Ross left.

Ladybird69 · 15/01/2026 00:06

I can’t believe that nobody listened to Harriet about Rachel after her getting it so right about Hugo.

She's probably just watched some ted talks, or maybe every series of FBI, FBI International, FBI Most wanted...oh hang on, that's me 😂

She went to top public girls boarding school in country apparently, so hugely privileged wealthy background or very bright indeed. Or both.

Pusstachio · 14/01/2026 23:58

No doubt it was some dubious course with the FBI tag attached that we (and the faithfuls) are all swallowing up same as how hotel staff were hoodwinked by her claims that she was the NI first minister’s daughter and gave her a presidential suite 😂

TitsInAbsentia · 15/01/2026 00:12

Ellie is definitely lying low or at least low in the edit because she's not getting banished/bumped off just yet.

So if they do go for James (whose info on the Beeb traitors site says he's good at poker...well you didn't poker face that shield you nicked!) doesn't that then point show who some confirmed faithfuls are? Or will someone claim there was a traitor in their challenge group and they tried to murder him as a bluff?

SwedishEdith · 15/01/2026 00:12

The camera shows Ellie's expressions a lot. I know she's something to do with psychology but is she an actual practising psychologist?

saltandvinegarchipsticks · 15/01/2026 00:15

Boilingfrogatprimaryschool · 14/01/2026 23:31

Did anyone notice Jessie hanging off James at breakfast. Then he was putting his arm around her as they left, before the camera swiftly cut. Definitely couple vibes.
Did he just take a shield for himself or because Jessie couldn't cope being in there without him? I like to think he had a higher purpose for shitting on his team mates!

Jessie’s all over everyone. James lives near me, I’m sure they’re not a couple.

SwedishEdith · 15/01/2026 00:16

Ladybird69 · 15/01/2026 00:06

I can’t believe that nobody listened to Harriet about Rachel after her getting it so right about Hugo.

I was half surprised she was voted off because I'd have wanted to digest what she said and compare notes with some of the others, or her, first. But, she was clearly so obnoxious in the morning, many had already decided they didn't like her any more.

Her Instagram says she’s a chartered psychologist, but I don’t know whether she actually works as a psychologist.

I think she wanted to go. There was no point staying as a faithful. It is incredibly frustrating even watching them. There are always a few sheep as faithfuls who get to the end. In this series the majority of the faithfuls are adopting this approach.

I’m really not sure about Rachel’s FBI training story but none of them batted an eyelid.

They won’t even remember it by tomorrow night

I said on the last thread, I know exactly which online 'course' Rachel took (or rather, I have a pretty bloody strong hunch). I've seen a lot of ads for it, and it's run by someone ex FBI who I've seen in a reality tv show game as one of the assessors. I'll see if I can find it.

Well, from a faithful pov, with all of that analytical training on micro expressions and body language she should be flushing out the traitors at speed!
