Welcome to Thread 7 of Traitors 2026.

This thread runs at TV pace so do not read any further if you are not up to date with the live broadcast. Whilst most discussion will be on the current series, inevitably people will refer to previous series/players/winners so reader beware if you’ve not seen the 3 previous editions, or the celebrity version.

While we welcome posters discussing their theories and speculating on relationships/connections between players, please don’t post spoilers from elsewhere that may ruin things for those of us who like to see things unfold over the course of the series.

The story so far (as at end of Ep 6):

Traitors
Hugo
Rachel
Stephen
Fiona (Secret Traitor)

Murdered
Netty
Ben
Maz
Reece

Banished
Judy (Faithful)
Hugo (Traitor)
Ross (Faithful)
Amanda (Faithful)
Fiona (Traitor)

This thread is starting mid-way through Episode 7, so goodness only knows what is going to happen in the Round Table Showdown that is brewing.

The floor is yours…

It was the voice shaking with anger but that turned me off her. She seemed outraged that the traitors were being traitors in a game called traitors and by the mere possibility that they might think they had tricked her.

Could it be something about the way the game is managed by the production staff that made her angry and by the round table in the morning, want out? ...

It might not have been something that happened between the players.

The "batshit menopausal women" (Hmm) all did do a kamikaze move though.
Fiona would have stayed under the radar had she not turned on Rachel.
Harriet offered herself up on a plate, and that was definitely a controlled move on her part. She said herself on Uncloaked she went out on her terms and how many can say that.

So it's hardly like they were picked off simply because of their age.

Putting the misogynistic 'batshit' label in the bin where it belongs, I think as you get older you just can't bear to fanny about – you just want to get shit done. I'm 53 and that's definitely the case for me. So I think it was impatience that got the better of them – they just wanted to get Rachel out and the rest weren't getting on board quickly enough.

Yes - totally agree. Very eloquent against Hugo but just rude and belligerent in this episode. Made her very unlikeable.

Exactly. So why the sudden personality change? Fiona, too, a sudden personality change. What had Rachel (and her clique) said or done to cause this? There really isn’t smoke without fire and I don’t think the spurt of anger and hostility came from nowhere.

Is Rachel now the oldest left in? She's 42 i think.

The Traitors Wiki has 150 odd winners of Traitors across the franchise of which only four or five are much over forty. Hard to say precisely as for some I can’t find the actual age so am guessing based on photo. Similar small numbers of racial minorities from the relevant countries but again, hard to say without knowing the starting line up. Women/men were roughly equal winners but I didn’t check whether one group is more successful as traitors.

ChilledProsecco · 14/01/2026 22:10

How does it work if they decide to murder someone who has a shield?

Risky strategy as 2 out of the 3 names they suggested had shields.

And recruiting would have been too risky too, so murder is the less of 2 evils!

EdithBond · 14/01/2026 22:11

Wheezygonzalez · 14/01/2026 21:45

If I was Harriet I would’ve said to the traitors I think the traitors are X Y & Z (NOT named Rachel and taken heat off me with the traitors) and just them to confirm if I have any right. Kept dropping little seeds about Rachel, staying under the radar until near the end.

100%

Harriet even said ‘keep your enemies closer’ when she first shared on VT she suspected Rachel.

IMHO only way to win as a Faithful is to figure out one or more Traitors, befriend them and let them know you think they’re a Faithful. Then, they’ll carry you all the way to the final, where you can banish them.

Traitor hunters never win. They crash and burn.

peacefulpeach · 14/01/2026 22:12

Claudia’s the oldest woman in the room!

Exhaustion? From Uncloaked it sounded like she was finding it more stressful as the numbers went down. That’s a common comment on Uncloaked.

Yes, just dial down your IQ a bit & kick back.

Me too. The ‘fannying about’ would drive me insane. It does in real life when I have to endure people who can’t work together as a team at work. In the castle where there is a clear objective, I would be going nuts.

WolfinSheepsDress · 14/01/2026 22:14

Harriet's behaviour at breakfast was odd but she explained that she thought more than two people were traitors ! So she imagined loads spinning against her.

What made breakfast worse was Roxy determined to say her piece. Becsuee she kept interrupting it was ramping up Harriet's pressure because she had a clearly rehearsed speech

This big reveal stuff has become hilarious ie Amanda's big reveal /detective and now Harriet's. Big reveal with the rather crap follow up...I've been on an FBI course ??

A course ?? Compared to proper professional backgrounds ?? But what i think Rachel has going for her is that the inflections in her sentences go down and somerhng about her is very serious as Harriet said coupled with the primary school teacher SUNY dungerees.

I'm astonished that no one listened to Harriet when she speared Hugo at the start.

I would defiantly want her representing me if I ever needed a barrister and if she ever went back.

Remember ,she didn't only skewer Hugo...she actually nailed the plot between Fiona and Rachel je the traitor pincer movement !! She even got that complety right that Rachel was throwing Fiona under the bus .

Amazing

Yes, just dial down your IQ a bit & kick back.

That seems to be Ellie’s strategy and, if so, it’s working well for her

WolfinSheepsDress · 14/01/2026 22:15

I think Roxy is naive and very stupid.
I hope she goes next people are talking about harriets ago but my goodness Roxy had to keep interrupting her with nonsense about mirrors !.and then the oh love Rachel that awful woman who dares to hate me interrupting dares to hate you babes
..

Are you Harriet? Grin

I'd bet money she is or has been a MNer.

TellingBone · 14/01/2026 22:17

What baffles me is that following Fiona's massive failure in gameplay Harriet thought that employing the same tactic would work.

I'm back on the side of the Traitors. That's my usual preference but I found myself on the side of Faithful while Fiona was there. Even though I'm not that keen on Rachel.

Agreed, hi Harriet😂

if she was so amazing why on earth didn’t she bring up the Fiona/Rachel faceoff? By far the biggest piece of evidence

YouWillNeverGuessMyUsername · 14/01/2026 22:19

I do wonder about the editing of this show.

EchoedSilence · 14/01/2026 22:19

I'm team traitor atm. I think Rachel is a good traitor and Stephen is very cunning.

Ikr... So a known traitor accused Rachel of being a traitor....and nobody acts on that? Nobody seemed to notice that whoever goes up against Rachel is getting banished?

It seems a lot more edited this series.

I know it always has been, given it’s condensing an entire day into an hour, but it definitely feels like there’s more we haven’t seen.

MrsLeonFarrell · 14/01/2026 21:58

Even if she'd kept her sights on Rachel she could have made it very uncomfortable for her going forward. Instead she widened her focus and confused the table. She left and achieved nothing.

I agree, Harriet achieved nothing. She burned and died and bamboozled the other contestants into wasting an important vote.

LighthouseLED · 14/01/2026 22:22

Stephen’s another one who’s underplaying his IQ and playing a very good social game.
