Welcome to Thread 7 of Traitors 2026.

This thread runs at TV pace so do not read any further if you are not up to date with the live broadcast. Whilst most discussion will be on the current series, inevitably people will refer to previous series/players/winners so reader beware if you’ve not seen the 3 previous editions, or the celebrity version.

While we welcome posters discussing their theories and speculating on relationships/connections between players, please don’t post spoilers from elsewhere that may ruin things for those of us who like to see things unfold over the course of the series.

The story so far (as at end of Ep 6):

Traitors
Hugo
Rachel
Stephen
Fiona (Secret Traitor)

Murdered
Netty
Ben
Maz
Reece

Banished
Judy (Faithful)
Hugo (Traitor)
Ross (Faithful)
Amanda (Faithful)
Fiona (Traitor)

This thread is starting mid-way through Episode 7, so goodness only knows what is going to happen in the Round Table Showdown that is brewing.

The floor is yours…

Who put 50p in Roxy?!?

Also Roxy’s argument didn’t make sense. A faithful would want to keep the chance to speak to the traitors? But Harriett offered it to her and she said no obviously. 🥴

I can’t believe they chose to murder. I really hope we get to find out what happens if they attempt to murder someone with a shield.

Recruiting too risky!

Rictasmorticia · 14/01/2026 21:39

I can’t stand Matthew. What an idiotic proposition he put to the traitors

MrsLeonFarrell · 14/01/2026 21:39

RubieChewsDay · 14/01/2026 21:34

Do you hear them opening the second envelope?

Not so far. I think that's a reveal for the end of the game

Itwasallyellow2 · 14/01/2026 21:39

I genuinely think I would have wanted out of this series if I had been in the castle. No-one is listening to people’s suspicions and a scatter-gun approach prevails. All middle-aged people have been murdered or banished. Recent episodes have left me with a very unpleasant taste in my mouth - it feels much more toxic at this stage than previous series.

Jessie would be the only one to put two and two together now if she survives.

Seren20 · 14/01/2026 21:40

Did anyone else notice the letters on the statues? Did they spell out a clue?

placemats · 14/01/2026 21:40

Umbilicat · 14/01/2026 21:36

No

Meant to say James.

Therefore Adam is the best bet for murder.

Perhaps it was edited but that should have been discussed in the turret.

Anyone else getting ads for Harriet's books now??!

You should absolutely read blood orange its a cracking book!

Maggiethecat · 14/01/2026 21:41

They are dimwits, blinded by their liking of Rachel that no one is able to see all the controversy associated with her.
And none of them seems to have clocked the possibility of traitor on traitor, Fiona/Rachel…
And did they just think that Harriet was traitor on traitor with Hugo….

Rousillon849 · 14/01/2026 21:41

After Harriet's performance on Uncloaked, I can say that both her and Fiona strike me as intelligent women, who think no one is smarter than them. When they realised there was someone who outsmarted them, another woman to boot, they could not bear it, and took it very personally.

Their behaviour has made me totally team Rachel. And I wasn't to begin with.

SwedishEdith · 14/01/2026 21:41

I liked Harriet's dress. But she should never have revealed her job to the rest of the group. It's only us, the tv audience, she needed to impress for increased book sales. Then she could have avoided getting caught up using the word "evidence".

TraitorsFan · 14/01/2026 21:41

peacefulpeach · 14/01/2026 21:33

She can wear what she likes! People are so critical of what others are wearing .. if only we had images of what we’re all wearing ;)

We’re not on TV, though. I also think that some styles look better when you’re standing up than sitting down.

WriterOfWrongs · 14/01/2026 21:42

Interesting that Harriet was talking on Uncloaked about the harmony on their group WhatsApp chat, given lots of people's theories that there was secret beef.

IMO there wasn't any. it was a battle of egos.

Harriet has Main Character Syndrome.

As arguably does Rachel. And Fiona Grin

They should have recruited Matt and then thrown him under the bus. He already has people suspecting him.

Harriet embarrassed herself tonight. I know she was right about Rachel, but she doesn't know that anymore than any of the others, so why does she think they should listen to her over anyone else? All that talk of making a sacrifice! I think she knew she was a goner. She was so off the mark with Stephen!

I thought Series 1 was far more toxic. This one has just left me feeling second hand embarrassment for the middle aged women behaving so unpleasantly.

A Traitor would want to keep the opportunity to speak to the Traitors as it takes an opportunity away from the Faithful.

Matthew wanted to speak to the Traitors because he wants to be a Traitor. Harriet had misgivings about it because she was clearly angry with Rachel and she knew she couldn’t contain her feelings.

Yep & why ‘Must be…Jade’!

Passingthrough123 · 14/01/2026 21:44

I think Harriet had just had enough of the mental game-playing and was ready to go home. I noticed she never hung around in the evenings, presumably because everyone was drinking and she wanted to avoid that. She missed the Fiona outburst at Rachel and had to be filled in the next day.

So, by the last round table, it was either fight to prove she was right about Rachel or kamikaze her way to the exit. I think she chose right, especially as the rest of them are so bloody dim that they turned their attention straight to Roxy and Matt, even though both Harriet and Fiona have outed Rachel!

Everythingwillbeokay · 14/01/2026 21:45

Oh she wrote Blood Orange, I hated that book, left me feeling quite sick.

Maggiethecat · 14/01/2026 21:45

Umbilicat · 14/01/2026 21:34

Uncloaked is explaining a lot of things – basically Harriet just lost stage it. She shouldn’t have told them in the chapel about her background, she absolutely shouldn’t have laid out her cards at breakfast. Rrally she should’ve waited another day before laying into Rachel at the round table just to freak Rachel out. She was playing a good game and suddenly the pressure got to her.

On another note Roxy is the dimmest ever

Even the lovely Jessie had to essentially tell Roxy to
give it a rest at the end of the RT.
Please don’t let her last to the end!!!

Richard Osman on The Rest is Entertainment said Matthew looks exactly like the spoilt brat singer on Father Ted, if anyone has ever seen it

I couldn’t unsee it tonight

Wheezygonzalez · 14/01/2026 21:45

If I was Harriet I would’ve said to the traitors I think the traitors are X Y & Z (NOT named Rachel and taken heat off me with the traitors) and just them to confirm if I have any right. Kept dropping little seeds about Rachel, staying under the radar until near the end.
