I don't think it's a big deal if the traitors do find out out who the secret traitor is. They'd still have to convince everyone else they are a traitor to get them banished and would have to come up with reasons apart from "im a traitor and they were revealed as a secret traitor through process of elimination at last night's turret"... and it could put more heat on them than anything if it's a person that nobody previously suspected.

I also think if they are revealed the traitors could have a chance to recruit them into their team or something like that. Time will tell what's going on with it.

DarkForces · 02/01/2026 22:39

I'm terrible at this. I have a list of about half the possible players on my secret traitor suspect list although Ross has bumped himself right down tonight. He completely ignored my advice to stop talking. It's like shouting at the tv isn't enough 😭

If I was a producer I'd pick jennie so she'll be banished tomorrow and be knocked off the list

Alpacajigsaw · 02/01/2026 22:40

Roxy or Fiona as ST I think

RainbowSnake · 02/01/2026 22:40

I wonder what will happen with recruitment. Will the traitors be able to select who they want or will the secret traitor give them a shortlist or select for them? It would stop them from possibly attempting to recruit the secret traitor if they didn’t have the choice themselves.

CrushingOnRubies · 02/01/2026 22:42

LighthouseLED · 02/01/2026 22:36

That would also explain why James isn’t on the list, despite it being in the ST’s best interest to keep the number of confirmed faithfuls small. Roxy was the only person to vote for James IIRC, so wouldn’t want to risk the others murdering him.

Good point! Why is Maz the only faithful who has been on the list twice?

DontGoJasonWaterfalls · 02/01/2026 22:43

One thing I don't understand is why the traitors have instantly turned against the ST rather than trying to work with them, at least to begin with... I think if I was ST I'd be trying to help the traitors as much as possible, and if I were a traitor I'd be trying to work out the ST's gameplan and go along with it.

CrushingOnRubies · 02/01/2026 22:42

I don't think the ST wants Maz out - Reece and Ben are both easy targets to throw suspicion onto Adam and Ross. Keeping Maz on the list keeps the pool wide but is also such a random, out of left field choice that it kind of forces them to go for one of the more helpful options.

HighStreetOtter · 02/01/2026 22:44

xsquared · 02/01/2026 22:21

Amanda said her current strategy was to "exude at being a faithful", which I thought was a bit odd to say if you are already a faithful. So maybe her for the ST. Also, she was one of the few people who didn't vote for Judy, but chose Jade instead.

Jade does not seem right for the game. Fine if you don't want to be a traitor, but she seems a bit too jumpy and hyper aware to last any length of time in there.

I thought Amanda saying that was odd. But then I suppose if you were faithful you could say this meaning you just wanted to try to convey your faithfulness?

But my main suspicion is Sam now. So earlier when it had passed me by that the Irish girl was a standard traitor I thought she was suspicious because of how she was acting when talking to Sam. If I picked up on that surely Sam would have done. And if he was faithful he’d have said something. And he didn’t. But I guess he may have been fixed on Judy still?

I’m not liking Sam (mat baker younger brother look) or Hugo.

can someone explain why there is a spoiler thread?

I thought it was odd too! I think they, especially Hugo, felt like they’d had the wind knocked out of their sails so to speak and suddenly weren’t the all knowing, most important people in the game.basically it’s an ego thing!

Empress13 · 02/01/2026 22:48

Can someone confirm that if ST is banished at table they admit they are a traitor? Don’t remember Clauds clarifying that

It hasn’t been confirmed, at least not on the main show. We are assuming they’ll simply say they were a traitor.

I don't think the regular traitors can see beyond being annoyed and frustrated!

If you mean the one on aibu, it's about minorities being voted out first, but was started before tonight's ended so people got cross as it spoilerised Judy before some people had seen it so MN edited the title. It's not really about the show but tv competitions in general.

murasaki · 02/01/2026 22:52

I've forgotten already, do the faithfuls know there is a 4th traitor?

DontGoJasonWaterfalls · 02/01/2026 22:53

Very fair points re frustration and egos!

I do think the ST's choices tonight are designed to help the traitors, so I think they're making a mistake by immediately wanting to sniff them out and turn on them.

The faithful don’t know how many traitors there are - normally there are 3 but IIRC the rules of the game don’t say how many could be picked

I’ve not seen that yet but they have a point! I commented to my husband on I’m a celebrity this year that it’s always a black person out first when Alex (I think that was her name) was voted off. I’m white and notice this - I can’t imagine how disheartening it must be for a non white person to take part in one of these shows thinking it’s very unlikely you’ll get very far because of how voting will go with your skin colour.

murasaki · 02/01/2026 22:55

WeirdyBeardyMarrowBabyLady · 02/01/2026 22:53

No

Thanks, I didn't think so. So they'd be working off 3 as that's the norm rather than the specified amount. You can tell I'm new to this post the celeb version.

I only look at threads once I have watched a show. But never know when it’s ok to post (confused…me too lol)

Yes, when you actually notice it, it's really widespread.

Yes I’m also white and notice this regularly, and I commented to my husband before tonight’s show that it would be typical for a black woman to be the first murdered and banished, and lo and behold.

I don’t tend to watch stuff like this or game shows - basically I’ve watched I’m a celebrity for about 7 years now and I watched traitors for the first time on season 3. I think I’d get mightly pissed off and frustrated watching lots of these types of shows and seeing it happen so blatantly and being able to do or say nothing. Even now I’m analysing it all again and realising the only 2 real choices on the first murder were 2 non whites as James was so all over the place he’s an obvious one to keep in!
