Equally if someone goes in hard on the ST and that name appears on a shortlist then it should be a clue to the known traitors.

I’m not sure that’s necessarily that much of a clue, though. If I were the secret traitor I’d add names to the shortlist that had gone in hard on a completely different player to distract.

Seasidewalker · 03/01/2026 10:28

It's a good point that the ST needs to be cautious about who they put forward to avoid whittling down the pool of those not named. So repeat naming isn't necessarily about wanting that person out, it's protecting themselves. In which case the first coffin trial might become quite pivotal.

MaggieFS · 03/01/2026 10:29

I think TRIE hit the nail on the head when they said it’s making a great talking point to get us through the first few round tables when people really don’t have anything to go on.

Do we think the “mum” shout by Roxy went unnoticed or someone else from the boat is sitting on that info to bring out in future? Or more likely it would have been brought out if Judy hadn’t gone so quickly?

RedToothBrush · 03/01/2026 10:34

I note that eight of the traitors are in their 30s with 3 ages 27 - 29. So 11 aged 27 - 38

Thats a big 'core pack'. Similar ages with more similar cultural reference points. You'd expect this group to get on and its easier to hide amongst them. From a herd mentality they are probably more likely to engage in group think for that reason.

The others therefore almost become 'the minority' and are more outsiders to the core pack.

Netty, Judy, Amanda, Ben, Fiona, Harriet, Hugo, Maz and Rachel are all above and have all had more attention/heat or are traitors with the possible exception of Harriet. Whilst the youngsters are Jade (25) and Faraaz (22).

peacefulpeach · 03/01/2026 10:41

whataguddle · 03/01/2026 10:17

I now think the ST is Fiona.

Me too. It’s always been Fiona. She’s much smarter than she’s allowing people to believe. And people are very willing to believe she isn’t that smart.

RedToothBrush · 03/01/2026 09:57

Oh and the ST isn't Ross. I just think he's not. He's not playing a great game and was torpedoed by Netty.

My DS is determined it is Ross lol. He thinks he's just playing really dumb...that Netty being there threw his plans when he was made ST and he's been digging a hole ever since.

lettingthedaysgoby · 03/01/2026 10:49

RedToothBrush · 03/01/2026 10:18

You need to remember this.

The producers do the edit AFTER the series conclusion. So they can story build and misdirect from early on.

Which is why I think the ST is getting some airtime now - showing them building relationships, which may be ripped apart later, to build their story. We just don't know who...

Interesting numbers and I agree with herd mentality with the younger pack. There are 9 "oldies" though and two of the traitors fall into that group so the groups weren't that unbalanced and wield some power depending on who the ST is!

BlackCat14 · 03/01/2026 10:53

I’ve got a feeling Ellie and Ross are a couple.

In the first episode, I wasn’t sure about the secret traitor, but then LOVED the round table. As Judy got up to leave and reveal her identity, I felt on the edge of my seat that it wasn’t only the contestants who didn’t know, I didn’t either. Feel it adds a whole new level of excitement!

FrodoBiggins · 03/01/2026 10:56

MaggieFS · 03/01/2026 07:26

I assumed he meant talking about the secret of knowing someone in there i.e. Nettie. I don’t think this was a big reveal of a new secret. He’s not always totally clear with what he’s saying - the same type of muddle as what he said about “the plan” that Harriet picked up on. I think what he meant was ‘once I’d seen that there was someone I knew there, my plan was to pretend not to know them’ but it was able to be interpreted as a pre determined plan.

But what "secret" is he keeping? I guess he could have meant "the impression that others would have that i was keeping a secret".
I agree with you on the "the plan was" thing. Felt sorry for him as it actually just shows he was just thinking very fast when he saw her about the impact on the game but came across as looking like it was predetermined.

CaveMum · 03/01/2026 10:56

I knew I’d cursed myself when offering to keep track of everyone’s vote for ST! There have been so many posts (probably about 600) since I last did the list that I don’t think I can go through them all to update the current list! Instead what I will do is post the names of the Posters who were the first to mention each suspect.

Sorry, if other events hadn’t occurred yesterday I’d be more on top of things.

Haven't read the whole thread, but the theory in our house is that Amanda is Judy's partner and Roxy's other mum. Anyone else?

Diddlydays · 03/01/2026 11:04

Yes. I also think judy and Amanda are a couple! When Roxy spoke to them In the gazebo they seemed like a family unit

Ooo I love that theory. Is Amanda a northerner, I can’t remember.because coppers that I’ve known tend to live in (move back to) the region they’re from, as they get older. Scientific sampling obviously..

I've changed my mind on him too! He's way too much of a loose canon!!!

I'm going with Ellie.

xsquared · 02/01/2026 22:21

Amanda said her current strategy was to "exude at being a faithful", which I thought was a bit odd to say if you are already a faithful. So maybe her for the ST. Also, she was one of the few people who didn't vote for Judy, but chose Jade instead.

Jade does not seem right for the game. Fine if you don't want to be a traitor, but she seems a bit too jumpy and hyper aware to last any length of time in there.

I noticed this wording as well and thought it was odd. Could be a ST giveaway or just calculated editing...

whataguddle · 03/01/2026 11:10

It is guesswork at the moment as we haven’t seen enough of them all yet and it’s heavily edited to steer things…

I can’t see them having 3 people linked but you never know…Judy, Roxie and Amanda did go off together and chat in ep 1 like a natural grouping so hey ho …you never know. They did seem comfortable with one another.

DarkForces · 03/01/2026 11:16

The traitors are a bit smug they're flying under the radar. I mean it's been a couple of days and they had to murder someone they wouldn't have chosen to. Hopefully they won't relax and give the game away too soon

CaveMum · 03/01/2026 11:16

Nah. It was just a figure of speech. Bit too obvious editing for effect, I reckon.

RescueMeFromThisSilliness · 03/01/2026 11:20

I've just had a random thought. Say one of the traitors is uncovered and banished at the round table, and the remaining traitors are then able to choose a replacement. What if they unwittingly choose the ST? Normally people are told to either accept and become a traitor or be murdered, but they can't be murdered as they are already a traitor. Do they then accept and tell the traitors who they really are, or keep quiet about it?

The ST will probably give them a list from which they can choose!

Ooooh. She did say on Uncloaked bonus though that she had 4 sons (or was it 3) and 11 grandchildren. I can’t picture Amanda having 11 grandchildren!

WineBeforeWhine · 03/01/2026 11:41

Can someone please answer me this question. Im new to watching traitors. The traitors choose who to murder, but is it revealed to those remaining whether that person who’s been murdered was a faithful or a traitor? Because I guess traitors can murder traitors or can they not?
