It's all happening in the street!

Todd continues to be abused and manipulated by nasty Theo.

Carla is being kept hostage by evil Undead Becky the Bay City Roller! Lisa (Swain) is pining for Carla who she thinks has gone away on holiday, (but Lisa still did the deed with Undead Becky!)

Nasty Ma Driscoll has been turfed out of The Rovers Return by her son Ben, after her horrible Christmas day stunt of revealing to everyone that Eva has had an abortion.

Will Driscoll is jealous of Daniel 'dating' his attractive older woman (well, she's around 28, but is still older compared to him as he is still at school! And to make things worse she is his sports coach!)

Costello has been beaten up and is still in hospital.

Tall Kit and Sarah Platt are still an item.

Shona is not far off having hers and David Platt's baby.

DeeDee's left the show after conveniently being offered a high flying lawyer job in Singapore!

Carl, the Chuckle Brother has been getting down and dirty with James Bailey (again!) whilst Abi is totally oblivious. She is also oblivious to the fact that Carl is trying to find a way to move away from her (abroad) even though Abi has left Kevin for him (and took her son too!) Some may say it serves her right! 😬

Evelyn has come back again - hopefully for good this time!

OMG I never noticed that. I thought it was odd that Theo appeared to be helping him, and yet Billy seemed more trapped afterwards. And as has been said, Theo (the actor James Cartright) admitted it in the 'aftershow.'

I also thought it was a little bit odd how people didn't wonder where Billy was. Unless it's coz they were all a bit dazed and confused.

Has Kevin done something to Carl (In hospital?)

Not just me that noticed the Steve/Vikram thing!

The actress who plays Becky was on the Aftershow at 9pm, and she seems like a laugh. I feel bad for thinking she's a twat now. 😆 Guess it proves she's a decent actress.

In fact, they all seemed quite affable on the aftershow. Even Carl!

I really enjoyed Corriedale. (Seems not everyone did, but I did.)

Was the Emmerdale baddie the same actor who played the waiter in the Bistro, who was held captive in the cellar then killed by Pat Phelan? I can’t remember his name.

I just realised that. John Sugden is Andy in the basement.

I'm confused. I watched the after show and I all I saw was the rubbish "host" interviewing the John Sugden actor and Cain and Moira touring coronation street.

I really enjoyed it. I didn't really know the Emmerdale lot or their storylines, but I thought it was well put together.

And yes, it was filmed at night, so there was a lot of confusion. But I thought it gave us insight as to what the emergency services deal with in cases like that.

I enjoyed it. Like pp I can't understand why no one helped Billy, and unrealistic though it was, I cheered when Lisa put the handcuffs on Becky.

So was Billy the only Corrie casualty so far? I think Carl is a gonner, he’d gone a bit too panto villain to last, surely? And a question mark over David? And Kitt is still galloping around the woods? Is that all?

I think it was hard to miss Steve looking for his ex colleague. He went on and on about it, while Vik, or whoever he is in Emmerdale, was busy doing dastardly things.

So Theo survived. I'm very disappointed,

They should have slammed that minibus door on him at the hotel, told him to F off. Apart from I live right by that hotel and don’t want him wandering round here!

I liked Vikram. Perhaps he could return to Corrie as Vikram not whoever he is in Emmerdale. I just ignored the Emmerdale people except the student doctor.

Really enjoyed it, quite spectacular with good production. Interesting to see the after show with the actors joking about with cuts & bruises etc. Actor Theo was quite amusing!

Corrie baddies - Theo plugging Billys seatbelt back in to die trapped in fire, Carl switching Debbie to drivers seat

Corrie goodies - Asha being all paramedic’y again, Kit hunting down the Emmerdale gunman

Corrie questions - we saw Shona’s back tattoo which was same as the Emmerdale girl in woods - connection? Did Kevin tamper with Carl in hospital?

I won’t watch Emmerdale as a result but look forward to the Corrie fallout.

Who is Betsy’s dad ? .. just curious really.
Poor Billy and Corrie writers are awful for not killing off Theo and letting Todd have a better life..

I don’t want Theo killed off. I think the writers need to conclude the story properly. I have read a spoiler to come for Theo and Todd. It’s the same with Celia and Ray in Emmerdale. They are proper bad people and I am disappointed the are both dead - assuming Celia definitely is without justice.

I’m also confused by Carl’s bag of money having the Weatherfield Gazette under the first layer of money. Had Abi stolen the cash and bulked it out with newspaper? But, if so, what was the point as it wasn’t revealed before he crashed so now seems pointless?

Carla looking glam and being able to run and help lift/push a car when she has kidney failure and has been held captive for however long seemed far fetched. As did everyone forgetting Billy and the likes of Steve and Cassie just wandering around not trying to help anyone.

Still a great episode though. Summer sobbing at the end broke me!

The problem with baddies facing justice is we end up with prison scenes. Although Theo deserves prison and being beaten up a lot.
