It's all happening in the street!

Todd continues to be abused and manipulated by nasty Theo.

Carla is being kept hostage by evil Undead Becky the Bay City Roller! Lisa (Swain) is pining for Carla who she thinks has gone away on holiday, (but Lisa still did the deed with Undead Becky!)

Nasty Ma Driscoll has been turfed out of The Rovers Return by her son Ben, after her horrible Christmas day stunt of revealing to everyone that Eva has had an abortion.

Will Driscoll is jealous of Daniel 'dating' his attractive older woman (well, she's around 28, but is still older compared to him as he is still at school! And to make things worse she is his sports coach!)

Costello has been beaten up and is still in hospital.

Tall Kit and Sarah Platt are still an item.

Shona is not far off having hers and David Platt's baby.

DeeDee's left the show after conveniently being offered a high flying lawyer job in Singapore!

Carl, the Chuckle Brother has been getting down and dirty with James Bailey (again!) whilst Abi is totally oblivious. She is also oblivious to the fact that Carl is trying to find a way to move away from her (abroad) even though Abi has left Kevin for him (and took her son too!) Some may say it serves her right! 😬

Evelyn has come back again - hopefully for good this time!

I have probably missed some stuff! But we can catch up later! :)

It's a very rare occasion that I smile at anything on Corrie these days but the scene with the ladies in the powder room (posh name for bogs 🙂) certainly did make me have a little giggle. It seemed almost ad lib and they all bounced off each other brilliantly.

I kept expecting Theo to walk in on Billy and the laptop. He seems to be the only character who has any common sense and tech savvy.
It is nice seeing a group of women getting on well and having a laugh! It seems to have lots of humour amongst the more serious storylines.

That group has been shoehorned together a bit but it does not matter as they are so good together. I think they started off at that women in business event at the hotel, even then Christina and Glenda hated each other. It was a good idea as it gives Debbie a chance to shine away from all the misery plots.

Although if Theo was tech savvy he would have deleted the original files. Even I would have done that & I don't know how to edit video footage.

Wouldn't it affect Swains career when it comes out that she was complicit in sheltering Undead Becky?

I've checked this week's schedules. On Monday at 7:30 there is a Coronation Street episode where they leave the wedding. 8-9 is Corriedale. The rest of the week Emmerdale is on every day at 7:30 and Coronation Street at 8. Both are half hour episodes. So for those of us who only watch Coronation Street, we only have Monday's 1 hour joint episode with the unknown Yorkshire lot. - The rest is pure Wetherfield.

Yeh I don't think Theo is at all tech savvy, because even Billy immediately noticed the initial video file had been doctored, so the police certainly would! I have no idea why Theo bothered with the doctoring, it was pointless.

I am hoping that Carl will find out that Debbie is his mother, and have a total change of heart and decide to stay in Weatherfield to build a relationship with her and make a go of things with Abi, but they all completely reject him and he gets sent down for Tyrone's hit and run.

@Housewife2010 that schedule apart from tomorrow is wrong unfortunately on your tv guide. Mine is saying tomorrow is Emmerdale 7pm, Corrie 7.30pm then Corriedale at 8pm then from Tuesday onwards, it’s the soap power hour so Emmerdale at 8pm and Corrie at 8.30pm

@timetogetlost yes that was his reason, but Todd isn't dumb so why didn't he realise that it makes it obvious Theo is the guilty party for editing it. The edit is immediately obvious as the timestamp goes awry.

He has been gaslit and worn down for so long, and the shock of the edited footage, he probably can’t fully comprehend the lengths Theo has gone to.

As someone who has been in an abusive situation (though not the same as this particular storyline) you really don’t realise the lengths someone will go to to mess with your head, reality doesn’t hit until the penny fully drops what’s going on. The more they tell you you are wrong and/or deserve it the more you believe it. They erase who you are.

I’m glad Billy can see what is going on.

Yes I do get that, I just don't think it has been very convincingly storylined.

It is absurd that she has not asked anyone beyond Costello about all this.

Same with Kit, he does not need to snoop around just report to higher ups that Becky is not actually dead

I’ve been thinking this too. He seems to be visiting the flat on a whim to gather evidence (like Carla’s hair and the tablet packet) rather than through official channels, I would have thought in real life it would make the evidence not stand up in court - especially because Sarah also went to the flat with him swooshing around her own long hair and she also works with Carla so could easily have had one of Carla’s hair on her coat. Surely they are contaminating a potential crime scene - because although he had on blue gloves, don’t they wear the full suits if they think a crime has been committed?

Would Becky's DNA be deleted off the data base because she is "dead " ?

Because if Kit had used his brains ., and got SOCO out her blood would be on the floor and Carla's DNA all over the door .

Or is now complicit in knowing Becky is not " dead " now as well ?

I hope tomorrow is good as I am looking forward to it !

As soon as Becky is dead (again) which will hopefully be tomorrow, I am willing to bet everyone will have forgotten about her by Friday. No one's career will be affected, and Carla will swiftly recover from her cupboard incarceration. Swain will continue to stand there looking like a lemon.

I think we have had enough police stuff now. The death of Craig led to a fall in policing standards. We need a return to the health centre and hairdresser being central. What happened to Trim up North?

Audrey sold Trim up North, and David came back to Audrey's salon. We need more scenes in there - and t'Kabin.

ISTR Audrey sold it because bad Uncle Stephen stole her money so she needed to release some cash.

Dev seems to be busy enough but Brian needs to move beyond toffees and magazines. He needs a collection thing for online shopping. Our local overpriced sweetshop closed recently and our overpriced corner shop years ago.
The bistro should do brunch. I would go there and not to Roy's.

I think the logic is he knows his boss is involved to some extent, so is wary until he has evidence as it could backfire.
