It's all happening in the street!

Todd continues to be abused and manipulated by nasty Theo.

Carla is being kept hostage by evil Undead Becky the Bay City Roller! Lisa (Swain) is pining for Carla who she thinks has gone away on holiday, (but Lisa still did the deed with Undead Becky!)

Nasty Ma Driscoll has been turfed out of The Rovers Return by her son Ben, after her horrible Christmas day stunt of revealing to everyone that Eva has had an abortion.

Will Driscoll is jealous of Daniel 'dating' his attractive older woman (well, she's around 28, but is still older compared to him as he is still at school! And to make things worse she is his sports coach!)

Costello has been beaten up and is still in hospital.

Tall Kit and Sarah Platt are still an item.

Shona is not far off having hers and David Platt's baby.

DeeDee's left the show after conveniently being offered a high flying lawyer job in Singapore!

Carl, the Chuckle Brother has been getting down and dirty with James Bailey (again!) whilst Abi is totally oblivious. She is also oblivious to the fact that Carl is trying to find a way to move away from her (abroad) even though Abi has left Kevin for him (and took her son too!) Some may say it serves her right! 😬

Evelyn has come back again - hopefully for good this time!

They seem to shoved that group together quickly. Glenda and Christina were mortal enemies a month ago and not sure when Debbie befriended them and Bernie.

But I do not care as it is works well and is the good fun we need in Corrie.

How did Billy end up in Todd’s room looking at his video? The scene just seemed to cut to that

He’s another one who should be written out / killed off totally useless as a character and not had a storyline for yonks plus he annoys me for some reason

I said this the other day. Debbie and Abi have incredibly shiny make up. It seems to have been popular this past year, (it's an attempt at Korean Glass Skin) but on many people it looks awful. One of the women on MAFS (the Scottish brunette) had a seriously shiny face, and IMO, they just look sweaty and greasy. Debbie looked lovely for sure, but yes her make up was too greasy.

Cassie did look nice, and so did Abi tonight actually. Seems to have less fillers and looked nice.

I think Todd was looking at it first - the edited version Theo has created, making Todd look like the instigator, and Billy caught him looking at it when he went to his and Theo's room. Then Todd dashed off, and Billy kept poking around on the laptop, and found the original versions where it was clear that Theo was the abusive one.

How nasty for Theo to chuck stuff over Todd at the wedding, and make him have to go and change.

The wedding was lovely - and yes, Debbie singing was cute. 😍 Agree with a pp that Sally's outfit was awful. Ill fitting, and looked too big.

I wonder what Kit realised when he saw an engagement ring in a photo? Was that Becky with Carla's ring on? I missed that bit.

I'm starting to warm to Summer a bit.

Carl seems to be getting away with knocking over Tyrone. ARGH!

Chas from the pub and Liam are going to a murder mystery weekend in Wetherfield, and it was mentioned in Corrie tonight that it is happening at the Charriot square hotel.

There are several unhinged characters in Emmerdale at the moment. A drug running mother and son duo, though the mother has been killed by her son this week. One of their drug runners April (a main character teenage girl) is missing as the son of the duo was meant to kill her, but told her to run away instead, so the family are trying to locate her. Also Robert Sugden and Aaron Dingle have been tied up but are currently trying to escape a character called John who is a complete psycho and has killed other characters before. John is Aaron’s ex and Roberts half brother. John has very recently returned to cause havoc after being on the run after trying to kill Aaron and Robert previously - so I definitely think he’s been brought back for Corriedale.

I think it was after Billy saw Todd without his shirt on in the toilets. He justified his bruises by saying something along the lines of “it’s not just him, it’s me too”. I think the implication was he took him to his room to prove it was him hurting Theo too by showing him the video that Theo edited after attacking Todd to gaslight him into believing he was the aggressor.

I think regarding the ring (though I wasn’t paying full attention at the time), Sarah told Kit she had been given Carla’s engagement to look after by Lisa, it was mentioned a few times in the episode that “Carla must be fine because of the photos of her enjoying herself on social media”, and I think Kit could see that in one of the photos of Carla supposedly being currently on holiday she was wearing her engagement ring - which was impossible because it had been left at home. I think he then realised the photos must be fake (maybe AI distortions of pre-existing photos of Carla on SM?), which then made him go back to the flat to search for more clues where he found Carla’s hair.

Thank you @Fbfbfvfvv . Emmerdale sounds insane at the moment! Like Corrie, it sounds very crime driven.

Debbie looked beautiful, but wasn’t keen on her hat or whatever they call those things ( fasinaters?)

I don’t think there have been many spoilers beyond the trailers released for Corriedale. I am pleased about that. I am very much looking forward to it.

Lisa really is useless if she could not spot that the photos were old ones or altered.

I think she has completely forgotten she is meant to be a police officer. She shows no signs of any ability whatsoever and is nicking off to Spain without a care for the job.

Obviously Lisavis in thrall to the charismatic Becky.
The thing on Debbie's head is a headpiece I believe.
Emmerdale used to be cosy. Annie Sugden would be horrified.

Last time I watched Emmerdale it were all fields!

In yesterday's episode Kit mentioned something about a drug test. What was he getting tested? Was it the blister pack for Carla's meds? Wouldn't the pack be printed with the medication name?

It’s The Saddleworth Hotel. Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy, but it’s in a lovely spot. They had catering trucks outside it for a week in November and someone saw Kevin Webster queueing up, so we thought it was something to do with Corrie. He lived in this village when he was younger though (as did Derdrie and Martin Platt. We got our first dog from Derdrie’s mum. She had the same glasses!)

I'll admit to shedding a tear when Debbie sang her way down the aisle. She has a lovely voice. I don't mind her golden highlighter under her eyebrows because that is her. I agree with shiny faces in general though, it can be a bit much. Was it not Jackie magazine, in the 80s, that was giving tips about how to stop your face shining when you were trying to attract a boy

Abusers will sabotage anything, particularly events that aren't focused on them, so that the victim's memories of it are negative. That's a double win for the abuser because they can later say the victim was a misery guts that day and ruined it for everyone.

I think there are some deep rooted feelings still there with Tracy (for Steve,) as she has always liked him/loved him even... But she left HIM for Tommy Orpington. Then it went tits up quite quickly. So I think on some level, she is resentful that Cassie has Steve now. It's a bit like she didn't want him, but she didn't want anyone else to have him. IMO, Cassie and Steve make more sense than Tracy and Tommy!

I think it's funny (parculiar not hilarious) that people have moved on so quick after what Cassie did to Ken. It's like it never happened. Mind you, it's never mentioned (I don't think) that Tracy killed a man 20 years ago! (And her replacement kidney has lasted 30 years! when anyone else would need a new one after 15-20 years! And that is never mentioned either...)

Also Jack being an amputee is never mentioned. There are a few more examples... Steve's depression, and Brian's Italian cousin (remember her?!) They will probably never mention Trish (the older woman Tim was with as a teen) again either! There are very likely more.

We have to suspend belief and reality occasionally though, but it's weird these things are never mentioned.

Oh, and The Quads and Dorin are mentioned now and again, and Tyrone even called out to Dorin the other day, but I don't think they have been seen on screen since summer 2025.
