I’ve really enjoyed the choreography he’s done this year. He seems to have really settled into his role well.

He’s part of an encephalitis charity I think. His mum has that, but I thought I remembered cancer as well. Perhaps she’s been unlucky.

She danced at school and gave up at 15 - 23 years ago. She has no professional experience.

I was a good mid/long distance runner at school, I was on the team, competed regionally etc. If there was a “strictly come athletics” I’d be shit because the “pro” level is an entirely different ball game.

However, in the final it’s only the ‘general public’ whose votes matter, and many of them don’t have dance expertise. That means the pro needs to provide choreography to show their dancer to their best advantage in a more obvious way.

It’s part of the judges’ role to point out the skills that the celebrity is demonstrating, and they do. However, many people will just vote on what they’ve seen. In my opinion.
