Asha took an overdose, as she has been depressed and low, but she's OK (physically.) Recently been attacked by a horrible racist woman who seems to have got away with it thus far!

Brody - Kit's son - is starting to become 'nice,' like (nearly) all the bad kids do!

Tim has just met up with a woman he knew from years ago... An ex flame I think. Sally is not happy!

Jenny has left!

Bethany is back! Lost her journo job. Again!

Todd is still in a bad, toxic relationship with Theo! Lego hair.

Lisa Swain's deceased wife Becky has risen from the grave! Threatening Lisa and Carla's relationship.

Kev's brother Carl enjoys having sex - with anyone really. Abi believes that Carl loves her. He doesn't!

Tyrone's not having a good time lately! He's in a bad way after being hit by a car.

Probably some more stuff going on that I've missed.

Good for Carla for seeing through her bullshit! I feel like Lisa (Swain) is half believing it though. And Betsy Lamb is swallowing it all hook, line, and sinker.

I am not sure about the new family. The mother/Eva's mother-in-law is a bit annoying. I hope I get used to her. Ben is easy on the eye though, so more of him please. 😜

I also don't want to see a poorly/sick baby - I wonder what's wrong with David and Shona's baby?

It could be. It did look a bit different. Still shit though! 😂

I'm pretty sure it's not a wig, I think it's just grown a bit longer in recent episodes.

Very disappointed in Maggie ( Mrs Doyle ) I thought she’d be great but she is very wooden.
I must admit I’ve not seen her in anything other than Father Ted, where ( to be fair ) all she did was stand there pulling a silly face and asking if you want a cup of tea.

The best storyline at the moment is Todd and Theo .. yet where has that disappeared to ?!

I hope Theo hasn't been keeping Todd locked up at home. He is so nasty and Todd has always been so sweet. Ish.

They do seem to like doing what they think are arty aspects.

Now that it’s airing and we’re watching it, today is supposed to be a special episode of both their viewpoints according to what I read in Digital Spy

The Waitrose advert before was so much better.

It was! Also miles better than their main advert imo.

So Keira and Joe aren’t their main advert? I wasn’t that impressed tbh but I haven’t been with any Christmas adverts apart from Aldi

I have always watched Corrie but stopped back in the spring because it was so dire. I started again when Eva's family arrived, and have watched since.

It looks like I'm on a completely different page to everyonelse because I loved tonight's episode. I thought it was proper old school Corrie - no police stations, no Swain, no Becky, no Betsy. And the main 'dilemma' was a human dilemma, not involving serial killers or car crashes or bloody Kit or Lauren.

It focussed on characters I like and care about, lovely scenes with the Platts and even in the Rovers, some nice lines for Reet and Glenda is fab. And I felt so sorry for Kev, left alone at the end of the evening.

I loved it. I might even have felt faintly tearful. I haven't loved a Corrie episode in years (apart from Classic).
