Carrying on from the last thread.

Asha took an overdose, as she has been depressed and low, but she's OK (physically.) Recently been attacked by a horrible racist woman who seems to have got away with it thus far!

Brody - Kit's son - is starting to become 'nice,' like (nearly) all the bad kids do!

Tim has just met up with a woman he knew from years ago... An ex flame I think. Sally is not happy!

Jenny has left!

Bethany is back! Lost her journo job. Again!

Todd is still in a bad, toxic relationship with Theo! Lego hair.

Lisa Swain's deceased wife Becky has risen from the grave! Threatening Lisa and Carla's relationship.

Kev's brother Carl enjoys having sex - with anyone really. Abi believes that Carl loves her. He doesn't!

Tyrone's not having a good time lately! He's in a bad way after being hit by a car.

Probably some more stuff going on that I've missed.

I felt sorry for the cake that was on the floor that no one was going to get to eat. I wonder if James will tell Abi about him and Carl

Yes, tonight's was a good episode. Just normal soap-type drama, and nothing ludicrous and OTT. Hopefully we've seen the last of borstal boys, drug-dealers, and violent criminals. For a good while anyway!

I got sick of seeing that flippin' Trisha woman. Hanging around Tim like a bad smell. And shame on Tim for saying he would meet her for a drink, and texting her slyly behind Sally's back. And him going on about what great legs she had, and how fit she was, and how all the lads fancied her. (When he knew her, when he was a teenager.) The man's like a horny dog. Poor Sally.

They're going to make him have an affair with this woman aren't they?! Seems Tim had sex with Trisha when he was 14, and she was in her 20s! Grim. 💀 The woman needs locking up!

I thought she looked older tonight than she looked the other night. Her whole look/the way she was dressed, was very old fashioned, (as was her hair.) So her whole look ages her. She looks/presents as a couple of decades older than Tim IMO, even though she is seemingly about 8-10 years older. It annoyed me how every time they showed her face, she was grinning. Must be showing off her new bright white veneers!

It's making my skin crawl how Trisha is making a deliberate play for Tim, even though she knows he's married, and has met his wife. But Tim is not exactly discouraging her.

Glad that Abi and Carl are out in the open, and Kevin has thrown Abi out. Carl did NOT look happy though, at Abi and her son rocking up to stay with him. You could see the distant look in his eyes at the end.

Shame about the cake, and Ronnie's birthday being ruined. I looked up Ronnie's birthday and it's October 18th so I wonder why they're celebrating it 10 days early?

This Trish character has obviously been introduced for a reason.

I have theories.

One - Tim is going to have an affair with her.

Two - they are going to do a retrospective grooming storyline.

Three - Sally is going to be upset that Trish is always hanging around, so confides in Kevin, when she visits him to support him because of the Abi/Carl thing, and they get together again. I thought they seemed to be getting close when she visited him the other day

I hope that James Bailey drops Carl right in it with Abi. James looked most put out when he found out that Carl was sleeping with Abi, so may want revenge.

Glad Kev knows - now need Abi to find out about James and then her and Carl can break up be left with nothing and leave the street .

Asha .. I should be feeling so sad about a young woman who attempted suicide .. but I don’t . No investment in her story and just poor acting . Compare this to the devastating suicide of Aidan Connor - I was in floods of tears .

Tim storyline - that woman is a stalker / predator from years back and Tim doesn’t see it . Although him texting her etc doesn’t ring true as he’s devoted to sally . I agree some sort of retrospective grooming storyline ..

Some interesting theories here. Hmmm, yes.... maybe she (Trish) will be a stalker, and there will be a retrospective grooming story. From what Tim said, it sounds like she was possibly a decade older than him when he had sex with her, and he was 14. 😱

There must be a reason why they're pushing this 'I was 14 and she was in her 20s' storyline. Why not go down the road of her being 27/28 and him being 20?

Basically, he was a child, barely in his teens, and she was a woman in her 20s! So she commited a crime. Having sex with a minor.

And yes @MonickerMonica very annoying that Kevin wanted Abi to stay still, but I think her insistance that she LURVES Carl made him snap and see sense, as he told her to get out!

Also, yes I hope James tells Abi about him and Carl.

When it goes tits up for Abi, (and it will,) I hope Kevin doesn't have her back!

Yes, I did wonder if James would tell Abi but maybe he’s saving the information for later. Carl was just in it for the chase with Abi so he will hate her and Alfie in the hotel room with him and when Debbie finds out, she’ll kick them out. Also, Debbie knew about them so no doubt Kev will find out she knew and turn his back on Debbie

I don’t think I want Kev and Sally to have an affair but I do want Sophie and Rosie to come back. If they can bring in randomers like Tricia who the viewers don’t really care about, they can bring back someone we do care about

Could Tim have a long lost child? That Trisha is definitely a way of introducing drama for him.

Who killed Noah? I think i must have missed a couple of eps.

That's usually a go to storyline and a convenient one for the dumb writers 🙄 but they're steering it towards the under age sex idea. Tim is playing it down but George is horrified and won't dismiss it so easily. Reverse it and Tim was the older one having sex with a 14 yr old girl. 😕

They are just box ticking again i think, haven't done an older woman groom a young teen boy yet, tick.

I was quite disturbed at the conversation between Brian and Tim. Tim making out it wasn’t a big deal for a 20 something year and women to be sleeping with a 14 year old boy, that’s not sleeping with its statutory R. If Corrie are going to be covering topics of historic cases of grooming, they should have Tim realise as a now 50+ year old man what happened was far from okay. (It could send out the wrong message to others in a similar situation or indeed to Paedophiles.)

Why after being married to Danielle without any history of abuse (I’m sure she’d have mentioned it if he had have been) has Theo all of a sudden would Theo became an abusive brute.

Even if they can’t get the actual actors to come back I’m sure they could give them a new head each 🤣

I did think with the Tim/Brian conversation sounded like yet another public service announcement.

My mind turned to Georgina Hale when I looked at Trisha last night but agree with PP that she's very like Bev Unwin.

I hope the Tim/Trisha storyline is done correctly/very well … it’s a hugely important message to get across to young teens these days.
