Brody - Kit's son - is starting to become 'nice,' like (nearly) all the bad kids do!

Tim has just met up with a woman he knew from years ago... An ex flame I think. Sally is not happy!

Jenny has left!

Bethany is back! Lost her journo job. Again!

Todd is still in a bad, toxic relationship with Theo! Lego hair.

Lisa Swain's deceased wife Becky has risen from the grave! Threatening Lisa and Carla's relationship.

Kev's brother Carl enjoys having sex - with anyone really. Abi believes that Carl loves her. He doesn't!

Tyrone's not having a good time lately! He's in a bad way after being hit by a car.

Probably some more stuff going on that I've missed.

I imagine funeral directors must have a lot of tales to tell amongst themselves and stiffies is a jokey name. In reality they probably are called something less hilarious like funeral director awards regional medal of excellence.
Roy Hudd probably called them stiffies.

I think George (well the actor) has got his scripts mixed up and has been learning one of his old Benidorm ones, that would explain it.

I have a friend who is an undertaker and he found it amusing. He does find George and whatshername's (Daisy's mum), relationship a bit icky though. Making a move on a widow of a man you've just buried is a bit of a no-no in the profession apparently.

The term ‘a stiff’ is commonly used to describe a dead body, so maybe the word ‘stiffy’ is completely acceptable in the undertaker world.
The word has been hijacked by others to refer to an erect penis, so who are we to judge?

I hate all of the carry on corrie stuff but I did snigger when George said the stiffy line. I love George though so for me he can do no wrong.
