Dropped today. I love Robin Wright so I’m really looking forward to starting it tonight. It’s about a mother who is jealous of her sons girl friend.

I started it earlier, just finished episode 3, I will probably fit another episode in tonight, before the series at nine on 5. Enjoying it.

With all that focus on the cat within the first few minutes something horrible is going to happen to the cat probably by the GF (whose acting is wooden)

It's like those series on channel 5, they always feature a big house, this doesn't disappoint in that respect. I do like those series though.

I'm on episode 4 I think . It's good, I don't know who's more crazy the mother or the girlfriend.

It's a fun watch , some of it is unrealistic like the lack of worry over the cat 😹.

I loved the book so looking forward to this. Have they made it American?

No it’s set in London in what looks like a £50 million mansion, I think RW husband is American too.

@Member984815 yes why were they tittering about the cat being missing when they were in the Spa.

Thank you. I’m waiting for DH to get home then we’ll stick it on. There was a lot about the size, beauty and exceptional taste of the house and the stuff in the house in the book, it was like a character in itself.

I'm on E3 thinking it seems a bit familiar and see from my Amazon history that I read it in 2018 but can't for the life of me remember the ending

One episode in and it’s OK - there’s no subtlety, Olivia Cooke is poor, and Tanya Moodie is miscast as Laura’s friend, but it’s watchable and Robin Wright is excellent.

I thought the same 😆, she is good at it though

did anyone else think that Cherrys clothing looked outdated for the time period, (im assuming it’s contemporary looking at the tech and cars) the really short body con dresses and skirts and her stiletto heels, yet the other women were dressed completely differently.

I read the book so I'm looking forward to this. I was always Team Cherry and though the s-mother was really annoying, but I think I'm in the minority. They are both crazy though.

I did think (while OC is stunning) her outfits all looked about one size too small and uncomfortable. I think that was probably intentional to show her different background to the one she was trying to break into.

I've just finished it. I haven't read the book but I was much more on Cherry's side than the crazy mother.

I appreciate he was drugged but why didn't Dr Daniel perform CPR on his mother. She had only just stopped thrashing! I also wasn't sure about Daniel listening to the audio and how Cherry was single minded about getting what she wanted while he suspiciously looked at Cherry. Was he thinking Cherry had masterminded his mother's death? While Cherry might have been unhinged and I did wonder if she was going to do something to the mum, that final evening I don't think she did anything wrong. The mother literally drugged him!

I was kind of hoping it would end with Daniel dying and it being partly the mothers fault and partly Cherry, although by episode 3 I was on Cherry's side anyway.
