Continuing from the last thread (Long hot summer of 2025!)

So much going on.

Sally and Tim are foster parents for Lou and Mick's children. (Whilst Lou and Mick are in jail.)

Kit (Brody's bio dad) has been assigned desk duties at work after getting into trouble. Bernie has gone on holiday alone.

Dev has packed Aadi off to India, to live with his uncle Vikram! (As he thought Aadi was out of control!)

Tim has Mr Spock eyebrows. Sally is still a snob. 'It's a top quality hot tub!' 😆

Abi and her comedy lips is having a sordid little fling with Kevin's Chuckle brother Carl. TracyLuv is blackmailing them because she caught them smooching!

DeeDee is (unprofessionally) dating a client.

There seems to be a secret involving Swain's deceased wife Becky that Kit's boss seems to know about, but won't talk about, and it's getting annoying now. (Just tell us Corrie bosses!)

Sarah has helped the factreh make a financial loss after flirting with a potential buyer who accused her of sexual harrassment, and is now demanding a discount, (which has resulted in other buyers wanting the same discount.)

Nina needs some else to do other than serve food, make dry comments then do a swift turn while trying to look ethereal and quirky. It comes across as smug and annoying.

He may be a good actor but the wrong pick. He is way too old and just looks too soft. He just looks like a typical nice boy university student nothing like a younger street kid who gets into trouble with the law. They could at least cut his hair, the curly locks are just wrong for the part.

Brody is sixteen and just out of STC. He should look more like the sort of skinny, rat like youth that I avoid at a bus stop. There are enough of them about

It was the same with Mason, they love the 'troubled youth' cliche on Corrie but rarely get it right although Jacob did look convincing.

A do it yourself wedding in hospital with Gemma pronouncing you husband and wife doesn't count in law. There was no registrar present and they didn't sign the register......unless they did it later and I missed it.

Well, I'm completely confused as I was certain but I can't find it anywhere. I can't even say I'm mixing it up as Def officiated at her wedding as I don't remember that.

I never could stomach Nina.What happened to her having great potential as a fashion artist?Of course how silly of me not thinking she would stay working in Uncle Roy's cafe.I cannot see the point of her in Corrie, just constantly pouring tea and talking in her weird voice.

Nina is becoming a clone of Sean with the swishing and one liners! Really thought Asha was going to come on to Swain !

I used to like her but they have nor developed the character beyond quirky goth girl in the cafe. There is a lot to go on, she's interested in art, music and fashion but they never really explore that much. I did like the scenes that she had with Summer who is probably quite similar to her in some ways, they should do more with that friendship now they are talking again.

I'm another one who wondered about a spark between Swain and Asha 💕

I thought that Asha was going to say something to push Swain into suspecting that the lad out on licence at the garage may be involved in nicking cars. Brody got a mention but it still went over Swain's head.
