So much going on.

Sally and Tim are foster parents for Lou and Mick's children. (Whilst Lou and Mick are in jail.)

Kit (Brody's bio dad) has been assigned desk duties at work after getting into trouble. Bernie has gone on holiday alone.

Dev has packed Aadi off to India, to live with his uncle Vikram! (As he thought Aadi was out of control!)

Tim has Mr Spock eyebrows. Sally is still a snob. 'It's a top quality hot tub!' 😆

Abi and her comedy lips is having a sordid little fling with Kevin's Chuckle brother Carl. TracyLuv is blackmailing them because she caught them smooching!

DeeDee is (unprofessionally) dating a client.

There seems to be a secret involving Swain's deceased wife Becky that Kit's boss seems to know about, but won't talk about, and it's getting annoying now. (Just tell us Corrie bosses!)

Sarah has helped the factreh make a financial loss after flirting with a potential buyer who accused her of sexual harrassment, and is now demanding a discount, (which has resulted in other buyers wanting the same discount.)

I may be wrong but I assumed Brody was still living in their old house but then how is he paying rent, bills etc?

Post-production sound effects (where the "tram" noises are also added in)...it depends on what is being used to emphasize the sound of the "kiss". Whoever is doing the Corrie ones obviously has very wet lips...or have something stuck in their teeth that is hard to remove.

That's what I was wondering too. He doesn't work, does he? Unless he's getting paid by Kev for doing bits in the garage, but that wouldn't be enough to live on. And it must have been a 2, or maybe a 3, bedroomed house, so would he even be allowed to stay there?

Brody is staying with Sally and Tim at No.4.

I like Asha, but that panic attack is not convincing at all.

I missed a bit. Flash back for Asha in pub garden then in pub. What was the point?

Last year I stopped watching Coronation Street after 40 years or more of faithful viewing. I have just read the OP and in the space of a year that practically means nothing to me and it sounds like I'm not missing much! I am still loving Classic Coronation Street though and Tracy is currently in court for walloping Charlie to death.

Asha is going to leave the Paramedic job and work in the Rovers or factory.

The panic attack was dreadful, but her message crying and asking Aaadi not to go was really sad. Did she not send it?

The message bit was very confusing.
I was quite moved at Gemma's little speech about not having to pretend you're fine when there are people who love you and want to help.
I have never seen anyone having a panic attack in real life. I don't live at soap levels of drama, of course, but most people experience or at least witness the big stress points in life.

I liked that Asha’s panic attack showed her with clawed hands.

When I have panic attacks and hyper ventilate I get the clawed hands (and often a drooping face), most TV panic attacks don’t show that at all.

Even DH said ‘she’s like you!’ when we watched it 😄

That is always where they end up.Hardly any Corrie character keeps their original job if it was not working on the Street.Thee is always a reason they leave it to work in the cafe/ bistro/garage/shop/pub/factory.
I think the reason is they have to be seen in the street at all times, as all the action is there.When you think of all the lawyers working in a back street!
It must be the easiest place in the country to get a job and a house.No matter what job they had before, they are also experienced mechanics/ bar staff/waiters/shop assistants/sewing machinists or even all five.

I swear that pic with the shiny metallic crap in it used to be in the living room of the Rovers (behind the table).

I was a bit confused by the cuts on Asha's forearm. Were they caused by the abusive woman, or were they self-harm cuts?

I assume that all the flashbacks were to indicate the stresses that paramedics can face during the course of a shift, then showing Asha's despair at losing her rock and support, and the person closest to her. Is she going to experience a breakdown?

I thought the message to Aadi was very touching, but she then deleted it and sent the more uplifting one so that Aadi wouldn't feel obliged to stay in Weatherfield, after talking about how he was going to embrace the opportunity and be successful.

Poor Aadi as if there will be more opportunities in Mumbai. He will be married off before he knows it. It’s not as if he’s into tec.

It is a shame that the only decent young lad has left, he has always got on well with all the girls. I assume they would have paired him with Amy eventually but were stringing it out only for the actor to leave.
