Continuing from the last thread (Long hot summer of 2025!)

So much going on.

Sally and Tim are foster parents for Lou and Mick's children. (Whilst Lou and Mick are in jail.)

Kit (Brody's bio dad) has been assigned desk duties at work after getting into trouble. Bernie has gone on holiday alone.

Dev has packed Aadi off to India, to live with his uncle Vikram! (As he thought Aadi was out of control!)

Tim has Mr Spock eyebrows. Sally is still a snob. 'It's a top quality hot tub!' 😆

Abi and her comedy lips is having a sordid little fling with Kevin's Chuckle brother Carl. TracyLuv is blackmailing them because she caught them smooching!

DeeDee is (unprofessionally) dating a client.

There seems to be a secret involving Swain's deceased wife Becky that Kit's boss seems to know about, but won't talk about, and it's getting annoying now. (Just tell us Corrie bosses!)

Sarah has helped the factreh make a financial loss after flirting with a potential buyer who accused her of sexual harrassment, and is now demanding a discount, (which has resulted in other buyers wanting the same discount.)

I think it was me. In his final scene, the thought crossed my mind that he was one of those characters they'd cop out of dealing with properly, and they'd end up killing him off. I must say, I didn't think they'd do it quite as quickly as that. Are we sure he's dead dead?

Todd & Theo now live in the flat (15a Coronation Street) owned by Dev over Devs shop.

DeeDee lived there before - she’s gone back to live at home to ‘share parenting’ with brother James. Before DeeDee, was Daniel & Bertie, Adam was a lodger with both. (And I think Paul lodged with for a while).

Trying to take on Tracy Luv made me think of a scene recently in classic Corrie that made me laugh (remember those days)

I’d read Noah was leaving but bloomin eck what a stupid storyline! I’d have felt cheated as the actor. I reckon Danielle and Ken Doll will get back together after Todd has had one more beating ! Nice to see Bernie back as the storyline with Asha and her flashbacks had mysteriously stopped. Re Becky Swain and Betsy please make it stop😩

Why or how did Noah die...where's Gary?

Not seen him for a while. He lives with Bertie in the flat above the builders yard (where he was with Bethany/Daisy before they took off)

Adam was staying there. Don’t know where he lives these days, or Aliyah?

All we know is Danielle found him dead - heart attack.

Todd & Theo didn’t seem to know anything about it, we are meant to assume they’re innocent. Maybe it was natural cause or maybe Danielle did it???

I absolutely cannot say Carl.

I know there is always a daft blame game on soaps but it was ridiculous the way they revealed it with Danielle storming in demanding "what did you do to him?" then after the break they ask how he died then she says "you tell me!" before announcing it was a heart attack.

Todd looked weary and ill last night, which fits in with the storyline. For a moment I thought he had a bruise round his eye, but somebody would have asked him about it, I think.

Did anyone else cringe when Carla got jealous and described Becky as “drop dead gorgeous”? I don’t mean that to be offensive to the actress - but it just doesn’t feel like something she’d say about someone who she’s only ever seen in sludge-coloured hoodies with no make-up (and an unconvincing wig).

Gary & Izzy are Jake’s Mum & Dad.
Chesney & Katie (Izzy’s Sister) are Jawzifs Mum & Dad making him and Jake maternal first Cousins although to say they live on the same street are more or less the same age I don’t think I’ve ever seen them interact.

Drop dead gorgeous is certainly an over statement but I’d say she’s quite attractive. Somewhat dowdy I might say though.

I was actually confused, I was not sure who Carla was talking about.

Although, Becky does have nice skin without a hint of botox

I did laugh when when we discovered that Weatherfield's hapless detective cannot even keep her car topped up with petrol. Lets hope she does not go chasing any bad guys, could get embarrassing "Costello? We were doing ton up down the M6 just about to catch them but we had to pull over as we ran out of petrol"
