So much going on.

Sally and Tim are foster parents for Lou and Mick's children. (Whilst Lou and Mick are in jail.)

Kit (Brody's bio dad) has been assigned desk duties at work after getting into trouble. Bernie has gone on holiday alone.

Dev has packed Aadi off to India, to live with his uncle Vikram! (As he thought Aadi was out of control!)

Tim has Mr Spock eyebrows. Sally is still a snob. 'It's a top quality hot tub!' 😆

Abi and her comedy lips is having a sordid little fling with Kevin's Chuckle brother Carl. TracyLuv is blackmailing them because she caught them smooching!

DeeDee is (unprofessionally) dating a client.

There seems to be a secret involving Swain's deceased wife Becky that Kit's boss seems to know about, but won't talk about, and it's getting annoying now. (Just tell us Corrie bosses!)

Sarah has helped the factreh make a financial loss after flirting with a potential buyer who accused her of sexual harrassment, and is now demanding a discount, (which has resulted in other buyers wanting the same discount.)

I think Dylan had to pull over and take Brody to hospital as he had a fit - so Carl was mad at them as he had to get the nicked car and deal with it...and thats why he ran over Tyrone because nothing screams stolen car like driving like a bat out of hell without looking where you're going...and then he had to go back later and torch it.

More gangster stuff now with Carl. It’s just not Corrie and the writers aren’t giving the viewers what they want to watch.

Yes, but we're still watching even though it's pretty bad at times. It's a lifelong habit for so many of us and I think the writers take advantage of that.

I don't know any young people who watch, they mostly don't watch any live tv at all in fact.

What bugs me about Mary, Kirk etc is that every time people complain that stories are too dark we have more of these one dimensional joke characters as if it somehow balances it.

It is hard to blame the actors, Corrie is a brilliant gig and the only work they would get if they left would be reviving the characters in panto.

Anyone else wonder if Mary’s mother is still with us as she talks of her in the present. That would be more interesting imo or perhaps I’ve missed something

I know there are more important plot points to worry about, but why did Theo and Danielle call their children Milly and Miles?

Our local guide dog centre names litters of puppies like that. So Millie Miles Marcus Molly would be the 2025 M litter.
I got confused with Jacob and Jack ... is Gary's child Jake... and Jawseph. I have never bothered with the quads who are in the cupboard again.
Writers should look at Mumsnet baby names threads for inspiration.

I know if someone who called their sons Tim and Tom.

I know a Tim and Tom fraternal pair.
Also a set of 3 sisters called Natasha, Natalie and Nadya.
None of them are guide dogs.
Can Kit please find some pretext to lock Carl up tonight? And just not let him out? Never mind due process.

I don't know if I'd prefer Kit or Gary to sort out Carl and Theo.
Surely Carl should be Karl as he was born in Germany.
